I ate here this afternoon at around 1:00pm and was pleasantly surprised that they served breakfast all day on sundays! I ordered the Ultimate Latkes and everything was very noticeably fresh. It came with the latkes smothered in delicious applesauce and a drizzle of sour cream, a variety of fruit such as strawberries, melon and grapes, my choice of eggs which I ordered poached (cooked perfectly), my choice of ham or bacon which you can sub out for tempeh or tofu (I chose bacon and it was again cooked perfectly), and their amazing pumpkin bread.( I highly recommend it). To top it off, my server Lindsay mixed me up one of the best bloody Mary's I have had in a long time. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fresh and healthy meal, with a menu that also offers plenty of gluten-free and vegan options! I was so impressed and a little sad that I didn't get to experience this restaurant often enough during my short stay in Fort Collins.
This was our second time at rainbow, first time my husband had the breakfast burrito (it’s massive!) and I have the salmon eggs Benedict only thing I was missing was the hollandaise they use a cheese sauce instead. We both had funny bunny’s and they were excellent. This time I got the avocado smash toast with salmon it was soooooo good I will definitely come back for it! My husband got the migas and a pitcher of mimosa. We love the patio and will definitely be back!
In love with Rainbow! I appreciate that the menu has a lot of flavor that caters to many different dietary needs. Many restaurants cater better to either vegetarian/vegan food or to meat-based options, but Rainbow finds a way to make every dish great for anyone. The Sarah's Sandwich is a knockout. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and on the patio.
We just relocated to the area and this was our first time at Rainbow Restaurant. It will not be our last! I am vegan and gluten free, so brunch is the hardest meal to eat out. My husband has no dietary restrictions, so finding places to eat any meal that we both love is hard. You can see in the photos that I had the Bounty Bowl with tofu, which is already vegan and gf with no changes or substitutions. Hubby had the Classic Rainbow Breakfast with sunnyside up eggs, which he said were cooked perfectly. The bread and jam also appeared house made. We were both impressed by the quality ingredients and skillful cooking. We already have a list of other menu items we want to try. We were there on a Friday and it got very busy around noon. Go early to avoid the crowds. We got there at 11:20 and were able to get a table.
This was an incredible experience all around! The latte I order was quality coffee and came our perfectly hot (nobody likes a lukewarm coffee). I ordered the “migas” and added pickled onions. I made an order mistake and got regular bread instead of gluten free and they happily replaced the best slice of gluten free bread I’ve ever had in all the 8 years that I’ve been gluten free! The food came out less than 10 minutes after I was seated. The outdoor patio is perfect socially distanced and shaded by beautiful trees and umbrellas. An employee even brought my service dog a bowl of water. I was regularly checked on but also given plenty of privacy while eating. I didn’t leave a crumb! I will come here again anytime I’m in the area! Wonderful restaurant, delicious breakfast, attentive and kind staff! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
Exceptional! I tried one of their vegetarian dishes and every ingredient , made with love to perfection, I had to put my book down and forget my table manners and eat like a child. Fantastic tea selection, and just about the nicest staff you can imagine. I tried their indoors but the backyard was also lively. I will have to try every vegetarian item on their menu. Instant favorite.
I had to go back to photograph the food and it was exactly as great as the first time.
Faultless and diet friendly - Rainbow Restaurant is the perfect spot for a filling, healthy, and accommodating brunch. They have plenty of vegan and gluten free options to choose from, along with substitutions that go either direction (e.x., with meat, without meat, etc.). I can't recommend enough.
The food is fresh and so well put together. I thought this was a student hang out based on its location. Don’t be deceived. It is high quality delicious food.
This place was amazing! Food was fresh, and wholesome. And the workers there were all very nice.
I got the Bounty Bowl with the veggie burger patty, which I honestly thought was going to be a frozen burger patty when just heat up, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they looked to be homemade.
It was tasty, and very filling. Would definitely come and again, and get the same thing.
Not to mention the seating outside is lovely, and they sometimes give you coffee cake while you wait in line to order.
Would 110% recommend, especially if your looking for something locally owned and not a big chain restaurant.
AMAZING Breakfast! Something for everyone in our group from the super fresh Vegan Bounty Bowl (best veggie patty ever), Pumpkin Bread French Toast, and Tofu Scramble to name a few...dog friendly patio and relaxed atmosphere...We wish we had a Rainbow Restaurant back home!
