Great patio, fun wine flights, loved the cheese plate... but the Gorgonzola Pear Ravioli!!! You smell the toasted nuts when they put the plate down, then you take a bite and taste brown butter flavor... seems like the whole ravioli melts in your mouth! Amazing; so yummy!
My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed Cafe Vino and the environment! We were lucky enough to sit outside and even luckier to have Marcy take care of us. She was absolutely delightful and super attentive (even though she had a graduation party inside). Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, wine and service!! We'll be back for sure.
I have been to the Cafe for 13 years now...we had stopped going very often the last few years leading up to COVID because the vibe had become a bit Too Cool For School. Management changed after COVID, and the Cafe is *transformed* into an accepting and positive space to meet with friends and have an excellent time! The food is delectable, the wine flights and cocktails are the best we've had in Fort Collins, the staff (we had long interactions with no less than four different servers / hosts throughout our meal) are smart / helpful / professional / engaging, and the ambiance is bright and lively. Excellent music, not overbearing or awkward, and supportive of the overall vibe...basically, the Cafe just works!
We are so happy to see the changes there, and strongly encourage the uninitiated to visit it for really any occasion. Excellent date spot, nice place to just have drinks and small plates, and capable enough to have a formal outing or even a customized event in their separate dining space. Really, the Cafe feels like a home away from home.
Upscale restaurant with a welcoming feel towards everyone… modern with a great atmosphere.
Lauren and Chad were my people at the bar and they were incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly.
Cafe Vino dinner menu is off the charts and it’s very obvious that the chefs in the kitchen have it going on with their flavor parings. The wine list was very diverse and I didn’t even look at the Cellar Menu.
For food, I had the Salmon Tar Tar (salmon belly/seaweed with rich tobiko) as an app and the Pork Osso Buco as my main dish. They had no problems converting the pork dish I had into a dairy free dish. The pork fell off the bone and the flavor pairings within the dish between the mustard seeds in the succotash and demi glaze were out of this world.
If you pass through Ft. Collins without coming here, you are doing yourself and your pallet a disservice.
Well done, Cafe Vino. I will certainly be coming back when I can.
On August 27th we had dinner at Cafe Vino, what a treat! We started with the bacon wrapped dates, if you've never tried them you should. We were both going to have the lamb although the chef, Ryan Smith, came out to greet us and suggested to also try the ravioli and pork belly. Oh my goodness my mouth was doing a happy dance! We shared bites from each others plates, the lamb melted in my mouth exploding with flavor. Honestly, it was the best meal I've had since I moved here from Maui 3.5 years ago and I typically go out to eat between 1 to 4 times a week. Ryan came back out to ask about our meal, we both toasted him with our wine. Desert was excellent as well. The best dining experience, thank you Cafe Vino for a memorable evening!
Last evening (October 5th) my wife Barbie and I spent our anniversary evening dining at Cafe Vino in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Three years ago we were married there in the room to the left as you walk in the front door. It was amazing then and was amazing again last evening. Owners Richard and Jennifer and managers Mark and Darin and all the staff there were so friendly and accommodating, and made the evening so special for us. They even let me come in a few hours early to set up the table by the fireplace and kept it reserved for us.
The food was outta this world amazing. You have to try their Spinach Mushroom Truffle Pizza (a favorite of my wife, and now mine too) and their Cafe Vino Salad was so delicious. We finished dinner with a Toffee Date Cake with Coconut Ice Cream. The food was fantastic.
Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful and gracious hospitality! I don't think there was a single staff member that didn't come by our table and say happy anniversary during our evening. You all made our anniversary one to remember! Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!

Warm, welcoming, and an awesome ambiance! The food is absolutely amazing (I highly recommend the salmon tartare and salmon feta).
Cafe Vino obviously has a vast wine selection from several parts of the world, however, their cocktails are uniquely crafted and great as well.
I was thoroughly impressed and the final verdict is …. You really can’t go wrong with choosing Cafe Vino for any occasion!!
Cafe Vino was excellent. The inclusive menu was appreciated. I had the lamb and it was stunning. The s'mores dessert is such a clever and unique take on a classic. Definitely will be going back to have some if Chef Ryan's amazing creations!
Lived in foco for all my life and came to cafe vino maybe 8 years ago and had a great experience. However, nearly a decade later and maybe with some renovations and a new chef… BEST dinner my wife and I have had in Fort Collins hands down. Smashed it out of the park both chef and friendly staff!
