I love the CharcoBroiler. I can always count on great service, and a freshly prepared, delicious meal. The beef is outstanding, the salads crisp, the desserts (creme pies!) delicious. This is my go-to when recommending a place for my airbnb guests. Thanks for your decades of good food and good service!
I stopped in and had the lunch special on Monday which is an actual steak chicken fried in their own reading with mashed potatoes and a salad always delicious and it is one of my favorites. I used to live in Fort Collins and go there often when my wife work there and they have a great breakfast as well and the kabobs are a wonderful treat very tender. I forgot the chicken fry was cooked to perfection.
This was our first time here. It was a really cool experience from the staff the food and the ambiance. We stopped in the afternoon as to beat a rush for dinner. It is a decently sized building with a lot of seating and a bar. Cheryl was our waitress and was very nice and helpful with explaining some of our food we had ordered. We ordered quit a few items being we wanted to try a variety of the menu for a review. We were doing a vlog today and thought, let's go somewhere we haven't been. Glad we stopped. We will be back.
This is one of Fort Collins' hidden gems. It's been here forever, since at least the 70's and probably longer.
Today me and my mother went for lunch. I had the Holy Guacamole burger and it was to die for. Juicy meat cooked the way you want it, and just the right amount of peppery goodness. Mom had the Sirloin tips, served with buttered noodles and sour cream, and loved it. The "Perfect Margarita" lived up to its name -- nicely salted glass and just the right amount of kick. For dessert I had a slice of banana cream pie that was gigantic, and just plain indulgent.
Special shout-out to our server, Cheryl, who was attentive and had a down-home friendly personality.
If you want to truly support local business, skip College and head out Mulberry. There's a reason this place has been here so long.
Enjoyable place for a meal with family abs friends. This restaurant is able to accommodate groups of most any size, meals are tasty, nice portion size, and competitively priced.
Really Cool place if you have never been here.
The Art work and food is something to experience.
Huge fresh salads, perfectly cooked steaks, delicious onion soup and incredible service. And you will be SHOCKED how inexpensive it is compared to far inferior chain steak houses.
If you like a "throwback" steakhouse, with no frills but a great value, you will really enjoy this Fort Collins icon. The ambiance is super casual - come in your boots or sneakers and you'll fit right in. Food was quite good (Be sure to try their mashed potatoes, yum!) The steaks were cooked just right and the house salad came with rice chex for croutons, I loved it! Service was a bit slow due to staff shortage but they were apologetic and made up for it with a super friendly and welcoming approach. Almost forgot, be sure to check out the bar - that is a true throwback with some quaint booths and table setups you might enjoy.
Been coming to this place for 25 years. Never had anything less than a perfectly cooked steak every time. The "North Forty" is so rustic and cool. Their staff is always so welcoming. Great wine list. So many great things on the menu if your looking for variety.
