This was our third visit there. Needless to say they did NOT disappoint. Kristen (sp) was our server and Alex was in training. We decided to do tapas. We devoured the Grilled Mojito Shrimp, Roasted Sweet Potato & Goat Cheese Dip, Cheese Board and our desert ;). The Marinated Filet Mignon Tips. The tips were cooked exactly as we wanted, tender and super falvorful. Shrimp was tender and watermelon - flavorful and charred to perfection. The Sweet Potato & Goat cheese dip was something new I wanted to try, there was a sauce that was added which helped with the flavor. I would suggest more of the sauce? Kristin was very attentive and Alex was super gracious and attentive as well. Our water glasses were always filled as well as my tea. We consider Simmer our neighborhood goto!!
Went with some coworkers for lunch (6 of us) and tried nearly everything - all of it was delicious! The service was great and the owner came and chatted with us and told us a little bit about the history of the decor, and some of the dish inspirations. Very cool stories and a nice small business vibe over chain restaurants. Overall very welcoming, friendly, and most importantly, great food.
The caprese salad with burrata and the lamb meatballs were my favorite. Go try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!
This is the best food I've had out of several restaurants between Denver/Aurora & Fort Collins. The steak on my salad was out of this world. The service was top notch. I'll be going here over and over again. There just aren't words for how amazing the quality and flavor was!
Ambiance is great, they have a patio seating area as well with a fireplace, full bar and limited booths. Everyone was socially distanced and masked when required.
Staff, although limited, they were moving quickly and still attentive to your needs despite 2 people serving the entire floor.
Food was good, we ordered the bacon wrapped peppers stuffed with almonds and cheese and OMG was my favorite thing on the menu. Bacon perfectly cooked and cheese just melted right in your mouth, great combo of flavors.
My husband ordered the Spicy Nashville sandwich and it was decently spicy but lacked seasoning but was cooked perfectly. I ordered the Filet Cheesesteak sandwich and the steak was cooked perfectly and the cheese oozed out of the sandwich. However again lacked a bit of seasoning but was still really good. Each were on a fresh baguette and crisped with each bite.
Full bar and they have an array of specialty drinks, wine and beer. A little on the pricey side since everything was over 70 bucks but it was fun.
We will definitely be back to try more and the service was super friendly and had a great vibe.
Had a great lunch here today with my family. I ordered the chicken Brie baguette sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was very good! I’m posting pics of each of our meals.
Why have I not been here before!
The food was delicious! The cocktail and wine list was really great. If there was one fault with this place, it's the limited selection of beers on tap. But that's just not what they're going for, so while I would prefer a better list, it's not the end of the world.
You should definitely give this place a try!
They are awesome. Fact. Really filling food that frankly explodes with flavor. Also, the blueberry habanero margarita was amazing. We don't drink so we ordered it virgin, and Kyle did a fantastic job mixing it up for us. This is a great place to have in your rotation.
You won't be disappointed eating here!
Cameron was our very friendly and attentive server with a great personality 😀
The food was so delicious and the bartender did a superb job on our craft cocktails.
We will be back again sooner than later!
