We had dinner at Locality last night and it was amazing start-to-finish. Started with the shaved Brussels sprouts with bacon... yum. I had the Scallops a la Plancha. The scallops were cooked to perfection and served on a bed of butternut purée with Beluga lentils and fennel sofritto. A generous serving and beautifully presented. The Blueberry Tart may be the closest to Nirvana I have ever experienced via dessert. The tart had almond cream and fresh blueberries with sea salt caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream and candied pecans. Wow. Just wow.

Go to Happy Hour (3-6) and stay for the chicken! Locality has great happy hr deals ($3 beers/$4 wines - the Tempranillo was excellent) and a great menu bruschetta $4.5 and mussels in saison with fries - this can be a meal in itself for $9.5 at happy hr. For dinner, I had the ravioli in a creamy corn sauce with lardons, my husband had the fried chicken. The chicken was delicious - light and crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. Came with a variety of sides which makes this almost too much to eat at one sitting. Makes for a great leftover lunch the following day. Service was outstanding. We will be back for sure!
