Hidden Treasure. BPC is hidden treasure in northern CO. We had breakfast there this morning and enjoyed the staff, the atmosphere, and especially the food. If you weren't looking for BPC you probably wouldn't find it by just driving by. It was really worth looking for. We'll be going back there next time we're in the area.
Smoked chicken was sooooo amazing. I just want to eat it until I explode
The French toast wasn't anything special, and a side of bacon is ridiculously over priced! But everyone else loved their meals, my cappuccino was fabulous, and I will definitely go back to try something else on their menu!
I'm Happy Just Thinking About It.... I love this place! The staff are always so friendly and the patio is one of the best in Fort Collins. They make the bread in-house and I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich. The breakfast potatoes are crisp! So hard to find for some reason?! Their green chile is also fabulous smothered over anything. Lunch is great, too! Salads are fresh and the dressing choices are awesome.
Great Coffee. What a nice place to have a cup of coffee. The food is good as well. Nice menu and friendly staff. We will be back
Come early or prepare to wait. This place might be " the secret of Ft. Collins" but everyone knows about it. However, it is worth the wait. Quick service and great fresh breakfast.
Beautiful Patio. I think the Patio at the Back Porch is a "hidden gem" in Fort Collins. It is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and toast.
For some reason, I love baking more than cooking. Maybe it's because my baked goods are sugary, sinful treats - cupcakes with butter cream frosting, glazed pumpkin bars (I will never divulge this super secret recipe), tarts, pies, cookies - pretty much al
The only thing this Cafe needs is more tables so everyone can come enjoy their delicious meals! They nailed it in every aspect you look for to enjoy a meal out. To start with the food, their homemade salsa paired perfectly with the delicious chorizo omelette pictured. Their bread is made in house and has great texture and flavor. Lastly, the wait staff is very friendly paired with a kitchen that gets you your food quickly without dampening quality.
I’ve been eyeing this place for a year now. Great little yard and seating options indoors and outdoors. Staff was totally friendly, helpful and made great suggestions. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros covered with Green Chili Sauce, the Sombrero Burrito and a plate of Breakfast Sandwich with potatoes. All the food was very tasty and came out fast. See the menu for dish descriptions. I think my Huevos Rancheros could have had a smaller dose of Green Chili Sauce as it was a bit much. Over all I’m going to definitely return as the menu had lots of great options…lunch as well. Their prices were spot on for the amount of food you get! Open until 2pm! Give them a shot. So this was our first time to try Back Porch Cafe. We shared a biscuits and gravy breakfast and a cinnamon roll. To start with, the eggs and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. I couldn't have asked for better! The biscuits were fluffy and delicious, the sausage gravy was excellent. The bacon was slightly crispy and we loved it too! The cinnamon roll, OMGoodness!!!!! You have to try the cinnamon rolls, some of the best! We will certainly be returning here!
came here for breakfast, even though it was chilly the waitress still let us sit outside (which we wanted!) the coffee was tasty and so was there cinnamon roll. the fruit cup was cantaloupe and honeydew so had I known that I probably would have skipped it. the cinnamon roll was very soft and the typical overly sweet. great outdoor space!
This place is the best breakfast spot. So in 2009 I was pregnant with my first child and I desperately wanted pancakes. We get there and they don't serve pancakes,I literally started crying(pregnancy hormones im sure)like what breakfast spot doesn't serve pancakes. So I got the Belgium waffles 😋 . They were huge and I loved it. Ever since then this has been our go to breakfast place. There hasn't been anything on the menu that I didn't like. So order anything and I promise you won't be disappointed. Everything is house made, they make their own breads and biscuits, trust me this place is cozy and quaint ,servers are absolutely amazing . Be prepared for a wait if you go on the weekends, it's worth it. They have a lovely outdoor patio with a small fish pond, beautiful flowers and trees surrounding you,it's absolutely adorable!
Back Porch is a good breakfast spot. Their cinnamon rolls are good, though I scrape off the icing. The French toast is tasty. The breakfast burrito is large and has a lot of meat. The chorizo is not spicy. If you're looking for spice, this is not the place. My scrambled eggs were kind of dry on our last visit, just cooked on too high a heat. The sausage patty is tasty. The servers are attentive and friendly.
I chose poorly. I went with the spinach quiche which was perfectly adequate but some of the other menu items looked amazing. I'll have to go back and try something else. Good hot coffee and a good bloody Mary. Excellent outside seating options.
