I have been here several times for several years and have never had a bad experience. Amazing bar scene with breathtaking views. The entire staff and food is amazing!
VERY GOOD UPSCALE STEAK HOUSE WITH NICE HARBOR VIEWS
We arrived at the restaurant about an hour early thinking we would get a drink at the bar at the adjacent Hyatt or the Pelican. Neither establishment worked for us so we went to the bar at the restaurant. I am glad we did. We had cocktails and shared the assorted cheese and Italian meat platter. It was excellent and service was prompt. We checked in about 10 minutes early for our reservation and were seated immediately at a table at a window overlooking the harbor. We started by sharing a stone crab claw. Typically a stone crab claw is short on crab and long on price. It was a traditional stone crab claw. My wife and I each ordered an 8oz. filet medium rare "plus" with Gorgonzola butter for hers and herb butter for mine. They came out perfectly. We also shared the truffle Mac n Cheese which was also very good. Service was friendly but professional.
By far one of the most excel meals we've has in FTL! Made a reservation and wasn't that happy with the table, but they were very accommodating! Ended up sitting outside which I would definitely recommend on a nice cool night! The atmosphere was amazing! Service was good! Definitely will be back and recommend to friends!!!
Lovely Evening on the Waterfront. I've eaten here many times, and continue to be impressed by the attentive service. I have read reviews here which disagree strongly -- all I can say is that I've always been part of a group of 8-9, including a child under the age of 5, and we've never had a problem; quite the opposite, in fact. The place was mobbed on a recent Thursday evening.
Food is great from start to finish, great staff, it will cost you not your local burger place not for family's with young ones I give this place a A+ you will have a great time.
Very nice goat cheese and tomato salad with out of the oven bread. Very sweet young lAdy tending bar who made a mean lemon drop martini.
Loved it. From walking in to walking out. The atmosphere was lively in the bar. It was pretty loud. In an empty dining room, for some reason, we were sat in a booth under the bar. Unfortunately the noise prohibited a lot of conversation. Hubby had a difficult time hearing our server as well. No views either. We weren't offered outdoors which was a bummer. We didn't even know there was an outside to ask. But our server was great. The food was incredibly great. We dressed up but there didn't seem to be a dress code. Everyone we had contact with was so nice. We absolutely will be back.
Here's a great place to take your better half for dinner. I highly recommend this place especially for any special day or just because you want to surprise them with a romantic evening. The Food and Staff are amazing to say the least. Superior customer service and the food is really out of this world. Highly recommended and like i said it's the right spot for that romantic evening.
Amazing food, top quality and artistically presented. The servers are accommodating and knowledgable, the views of the intercostal and marina are typical of an upscale waterfront restaurant here in South Florida, I had the privilege of being a server at the opening this restaurant when it was Cafe 66 back in the 80's and it was fun to come back years later, we will be back again for sure!
I have lived in Fort Lauderdale my whole life and I FINALLY just tried Grille 66. So happy I did.
We had a reservation for a party of 6 and we were seated quickly. The ambiance is very elegant and relaxed. We were seated in the upper area by the window so we had a nice view of the water and 17th street bridge.
The waiter was nothing special but he was fine. The food was EXCELLENT. We ordered way too many things but they were all delicious.
The tuna tartare app was good. Parmesan Truffle fries were amazing. I had the Snapper Piccata special with rice. OMG it was heavenly. The rest of our table had steaks which were cooked perfectly. Everyone loved their food.
Even though the staff was just EHH they didnt bother us or rush us out. We really enjoyed our dinner and we will definitely be coming back!
Beautiful views, excellent service and wine list. The prices are reasonable for the quality. A casual fine dining experience.

One of my favorite fine dining places to eat. Amazing quality and tasty food with great service and dim lit ambiance with a view of the bay. Definitely have to try their stuffed lobster. You won’t be disappointed even with the market price of it. You have to also try the Sea Bass entree and the calamari appetizer. Divine!
Happy hour was fantastic the portions were large the drinks were ample and delicious exactly as ordered .the view was spectacular. The waiters were terrific.
We had a beautiful table overlooking the water the food was delicious during dinner the waiter knowledgeable and prompt it was a wonderful anniversary dinner I highly recommend it to anyone And everyone
Really liked the location and the atmosphere. We joked that we might be dining with retired mobsters! Every food item we ordered was excellent, though a bit pricey. Our travel mates had the calamari appetizer, and the unique sauce with which it was served was great.
had dinner there with a large group...incredible 5* professional service, such a rarity these days. Proper wine service, food introduction, quality...all impeccable. I personally chose salmon, which was cooked to perfection. Neighboring people had salmon and steak, and I didn't hear any complaints. I eat out a lot, am a trained chef, and sadly, don't find myself at places with service and quality like this enough. Reviews truly need to be changed to exceptional, higher end to middle of the road, family inexpensive good food etc..because professional servers and chefs deserve 5 star recognition away from pubs that serve food and get 5cstars from regular patrons. Different venues deserve their due reviews!!! Grille 66 deserves accolades from my experience with a large group, not an easy feat.
