Extremely friendly, food was excellent, the server helped guide us through the menu and pick out a variety of dishes. My wife who doesn’t go out of her way to eat Indian food really liked it. Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic naan were both outstanding. I wish I remember the name of the lamb dish we had. We’ll be back
We did have a bit of a wait, but omg was it worth it! Amazing place, delicious food, awesome people. Even short staffed they were on it. I will be back next time I'm in town! I wish we could pick this whole place up, people and all, and bring it back to Tampa. I'd eat here every day!
Chicken 65, Chettinadu chicken gravy and rice for lunch, taste was average. Ambience and service was good.
Editing the review after the quick response from the Owner :)
I agree the taste varies from person to person, but the serve is is food for Indians, suggest to increase the salt and spice levels as per the requests from the customers. Though we had informed Indian medium spicy, it was very very mild and there was no salt. When checked with the waiter, the gentlemen said that they always prepare mildly spiced food, since lot of non Indians visit. We had to use salt and then pickle to complete the chicken gravy and rice. And the chicken 65 did not do the justice, with respect to the freshness.
Will come back again !!
Thanks for honoring our request to keep the food ready for dine in while we were on the way. We had eggplant barta, lamb rogan Josh, dal makhni, tandoori roti and garlic naan. All items were really good except bharta which had sweet creamy texture and taste instead of Indian taste and texture. Highly recommend their Indian masala tea which was amazing.
Overall one of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. After a long day of travel, this meal was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. The food is the perfect amount of spice for my wife and I. We will definitely be stopping in again the next time we are in Fort Lauderdale!
P.S. they do charge $1 per person for water which I found strange, but should not scare you from this place!
I was lucky to take a picture before the locals shuffled in. It fills up quickly, so reserve your table ahead of time. Excellent Indian food and service. Lots of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well as wine & beer. I hope in time they can expand to a roomier space.
We travel every year for my son's basketball tournament to florida, and we stay very near to this restaurant. Last year we never looked for one, and so glad we did this time.
Ambiance:
Absolutely stunning. It truly gives a luxury fine dining environment. Usually for a indian restaurant, many does a mediocre job on the interior. Here, from the expensive chandelier to the furniture, flooring, rustic and artistic side walls, bar, tables, everything was a great sight. Every wall was thoughtfully and creatively decorated. I do Airbnb photography in Charlotte NC ( www.charlottepixels.com ), and I know when I see the right interior design. So much care and thought was put into using the space at it's very best. Soothing colors, that emerald green gives a great feel.
Food:
We are south indians, and we were open minded and wanted to try what may come. We tried Kashmiri Naan, which is sweet. But it gave a Poli sweet flavor, and without any side dish you can eat. We had Chicken 65, and naan with a side. Everything tasted delicious. My wife is a vegan, and she had no problem in trying anything. My kids loved the food, and thought the mild was sometime spicy, but other than that it was all great. We also had the dessert.
Service:
Definitely let them know prior to ordering if your kids have nut allergy. You never know which food has nuts, and the chef and receptionist were friendly and accommodating.
Access:
It's right next door to a Chipotle restaurant and the door can be confusing since it's next to each other.
Parking:
Absolutely a pain. No parking space. It was raining as well, so its' definitely a downside. Definitely have a umbrella, as you may have to park far and might need a walk, and you never know when it rains here. Weather flips in a few seconds.
I absolutely loved this restaurant. The service, the food everything was perfect. I had dal makhini, garlic naan, gobi manchurian (So so delicious), mango lassi and rasmalai for the sweet. I loved it!!!!
This is by far one of the best places for Indian cuisine. The appetizers are amazing, I have tried samosa chat and paneer chilli and they were really delicious. The paneer tikka masala and biryani are my favs. I’m hooked to this place and visit at least 2-3 times per week.
Outstanding Indian food. Outstanding service and a beautiful restaurant. I had the chicken saag, chili garlic naan,, rice and vegetable pakora as an appetizer. I am not sure which I enjoyed the most. The service was very good, the waiter was very friendly and offered suggestions. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely return.
I would rate them as the best place for Authentic Indian food in South Florida.
Anyone craving good Indian food or someone looking for to try Indian food first time, you must visit this place first and always. It has become a favorite place for us to visit anytime we crave good food.
They are actually trying their best to give you the best service and provide you with a great experience.
From my experience around the South Florida, I can say it is one of the hidden gem when it comes to indian cuisine as many other Indian restaurants try to cheat and not serve as authenticate experience.
Also they do make good spicy indian food upon request and service is always 5 ⭐.
Their Biryani, Malai Kofta, all different naan are must try. Also they have some great options in appetizers like pakora and tikka kabab.
So excited to have found our new go-to for Indian cuisine! First and foremost, the atmosphere and service was absolutely perfect. The food and wine were also delicious with a large menu, a lot of options! Highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer and the mango ice cream for dessert. We'll definitely be back!
