9/17/18- so good had to come back and try something new 9/9/18- Wow had the Sentinel on their muffett bread and caramelized onions . I didn’t have the onions, with white American. They weren’t cheap on meat or cheese. It was very good . Place looks sterile. Walked in got big hello. Then went to counter and young girl was busy,but she looked up and told me one minute please , great customer service. I really enjoyed this sandwich

Press Gourmet was a fascinating combination of fast-food speed with more upscale quality, an ever growing phenomenon happening in the 2010 culinary world. Press boasts a mostly realized newspaper theme, but I wish they had taken the theme just a little farther to distinguish itself. Having the sandwiches named after different newspapers was a nice touch. My girlfriend got "The Herald", Press's take on a Cuban sandwich, while I enjoyed "The Telegraph", a grilled chicken sandwich with fontina, basil, roasted peppers, and arugula. The sandwiches themselves were heavenly: soft ciabatta bread, appropriate portions, tender protein, and delicious sides. A combo comes out to $13.50 which includes a side and a drink. That's why I take this to 4 stars. We both enjoyed our sandwiches, fries, and mac and cheese, but for $13.50 a person I'd be hard pressed (get it?) to justify stopping here on a whim. It's recessed into a pretty offensively boring plaza which prevents me from justifying coming here just to even enjoy the atmosphere. Nevertheless, Press Gourmet provides an impressively diverse selection of sandwiches and offers strong portion sizes and quick service. I'd recommend anyone to try it at least once.

AMAZING sandwich shop in Fort Lauderdale / Pompano area. You must try this place. Very reasonably priced and delicious. Great location, plenty of parking, very friendly owners and staff. What more do you need? We started with the truffle fries - this is a must order! So much parm, truffle and the right amount of crisp on the fries. Grab a fork with these because there's plenty of cheese to eat with each bite. It also comes with an aioli, very nice addition. My wife had the daily sandwich as this was recommended and their most popular. It's ciabatta topped with Brie, chicken, apricot jam and spinach. So good! If you're looking for something healthy, I had a CD salad add chicken. They gave so much chicken and it was very reasonable. It included baby spinach, walnuts, blueberries, strawberries, and feta with a raspberry vinaigrette side.
