In from Boston, was looking for a nice Greek place to eat. This place was awesome! Food was great, our server was great and it was a good location and easy to find. Highly recommend if your looking for a great Greek meal that won't drain your wallet!!!!

Love this place! The food was great and LOADS of it! Very extensive menu. Very busy place too. We were there on a Tuesday around 5 and shortly after we arrived it was full! Can't wait to go back!
A real gem of a Greek restaurant. Terrific food and service at a reasonable price. Visited with family and enjoyed a consistently good selection of the menu offerings. Portions were generous and meal was well timed with appetizers, salad and main courses perfectly spaced out. While the place could benefit from a thorough cleaning, food quality & taste were both excellent.
Our favorite Greek restaurant is Nomiki's Plakka, they have the BEST Gyro in town. We have dined there several times in the last 15 months (we moved to Cape Coral March 2014) and it has been consistently delicious! We are looking forward to going back and ordering the Saganaki (flaming Greek cheese served with pita) for our appetizer next time. A table near us ordered it and it came out sizzling, then they light it on fire, looked amazing!
The first photo is the Dolmathes, grape leaves filled with herb-ed beef and rice, topped with a tangy Avgolemono sauce (mild lemon flavor). The next items are the Greek Dinner Salad, Gyro Platter (open faced Gyro, comes with the Dinner Salad for only $12.25, large portions!) and the last is the basic Gyro with fries, the tomato and onions are served on the side ($8.95). Everything was excellent, as always! I love their lamb/beef, great seasoning.
Wonderful !!!!!!!. We usually go to Tarpon Springs. Well this place was that good!!!! The food was fresh and
Authentic, hot and fresh!!! Portions were large and anything we asked for was not a problem.
Clean and friendly. It's our new place to go for Greek food.
Great place!. I love Nomikis! The staff are prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and great at what they do! The food is excellent and I love their gyro, tzatziki, lamb, and iced greek coffee! I wish they'd move to a bigger location and have better atmosphere, with belly dancers and napkins flying everywhere like the high end restaurants do (Acropolis in Ybor City, Tampa).
Never the less, Nomikis is a great Greek restaurant in Fort Myers and it is my go to place when I get my lamb craving. I have yet to have a bad experience here.
So delicious! This was our first visit and we will be back. The owner was our waitress and she was SUPER hospitable. The food was very authentic and that was what we were looking for.
Plakka is usually very good! Love this place. However our food on 11/12/13 was not good at all. I don't know who was cooking, but yuck!
The waiter was very nice, glad we didn't get that mean/nasty/no personality lady who is always our waitress, so that was a plus!
Anyway, it's usually good but Tuesday's meal was gross....
It doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside didn't impress anyone in our party of ten either. Very simple Mom & Pop restaurant. But, the food was very good. Loved the spicy mousaka, very good hummus, chicken souvlaka was a little dry but very flavorful. Portions were nicely sized. The large appetizer platter for two was a great sampler of many of the greek specialty. Service was excellent.
So happy you guys ar re-opoened.. Have been craving and so missed the rack of lamb platter for two. Lamb, potatoes, green beans, pita and salad!! And always have enough for lunch the next day!!!!!
WE ARE OPEN! :D. Just wanted to let everyone know that Nomiki's Plakka is open again!! Our hours are 11 am - 10 pm Monday through Saturday and 11 am - 9 pm on Sunday1
Hope to see you all there!
Good to hear.... That they r closed for renovations...found it had good Greek food after searching a few yrs in Ft Myers & area. atmosphere was quaintly decorated but needed a face lift and good cleaning ;) will be happy to dine there again once reopened!
Incredible! We sat ourselves where we chose and had our drinks within two minutes of walking in. We already knew that we wanted to try their gyro platter, so we ordered right away. We had our salads within 10 minutes then half way through our salads we were brought pitas and an oil and herb topping and as soon as we were finished with our salads, our gyros were at the table. I found the food to be fresh and delicious. This was the first time we were there and we will definitely return. We recommend this restaurant.
SO good. I'm going to go into a food coma once I get home! My husband got the Loukaniko with fries, and I got the classic Gyro with roasted potatoes. I was expecting bite-sized potatoes but was pleasantly surprised when I received a whole potato sliced in half. We also had the Tzatziki starter and the herb dip first. And to end it all, we finished with the Bakalava. Don't skip dessert, and make sure you get the Baklava!! Your waistline will regret it, but your taste buds will not!
Our waitress was so sweet and friendly. We also overheard the others in the restaurant praising the food and the cook. Overall, it was a really lovely atmosphere.
It's definitely worth putting up with the construction on McGregor to get here!
Just a few photos of their delicious food. I purchase a few more items..... Customer service was amazing, timing was on spot (ordered ahead for pick-up, and changed my pickup time 2'ce) it was fresh and ready when I arrived. Added another dish upon arrival to go as well. 10 out of 10.... highly recommend!!

If you want authentic, fresh, homemade Greek food, then this is the place! Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection. Truly the BEST Greek food and hospitality in town! It’s obvious that this family puts a lot of love into their recipes. Not only is the food delicious, the deserts are always amazing too!
I have been dining at Plakka for 13 years now and the experience has consistently been exceptional!
Excellent service in a cozy atmosphere and so much more. “OPA”
I highly recommend you check it out for yourself 🇬🇷💙🎉
Love this place! Absolutely the best Greek food I’ve found in the Ft Myers area. Narrow restaurant in strip mall. Unassuming and casual atmosphere. Kind and efficient service. I’ve been here many times, but have tried only a few items on the menu because my favorite is the gyro salad. It’s fresh, huge, and is served with a side (I like their fries, and ask for them to be on a separate plate) and pita bread. My husband loves the gyro sandwich or platter. Absolutely fantastic food! MUST order the hummus & pita & olive oil - no matter what. Fresh, full of flavor and has something for everyone. Table ordered chicken souvlaki, hummus, spanakopita, and chow mein …all recommended. Their pizza we ordered to go after having a side of rice with their tomato sauce 😆or was delicious as well and would have never guessed it would be so incredible -from the bright tomato sauce to the pita it’s on. CANNOT wait to come back!!

5 stars all around. First time eating here, and while initially I planned to just place a to go order, the atmosphere and staff were so welcoming; I decided to dine in. I ordered a gyro which was absolutely delicious! My server had such a positive vibe and energy. His name started with a J, but now I can’t remember it unfortunately! Will definitely be back!
Always outstanding! Best Greek food I've had in Florida. Been coming to Ft. Myers for 17 years and sto by Nomiki's at least once every visit. Generous portion sizes so don't be surprised if you take home a box!
If you skip dessert, you're cheating yourself.
Great service for lunch. Thanks, Tom. Always disappointed when you are not on shift, but everyone is friendly and efficient. Love the 'Never on Sunday' veggie sandwich. Wish there were more veggie options, though. Grilled eggplant or zucchini is good, but there is not much else. I would give it five stars if it had more vegetarian or vegan options with greek flavor.
In my opinion taste better than Kabab Village
And cleaner
I love kabab village but this was better to me
Vegetarian grape leaves
Gyro and Greek salad
Food was great
They offer dessert but also have a candy machine
I was unable to give 5 stars bc they had a M&M candy dispenser
That machine has to go
