I am a regular at Cantina 109 and today I decided to try something out of their summer specials and I had that seafood Cocktail. OMG that was so flavorful! Spicy and refreshing! Perfect for a night end of July. And as almost ways I can't go around the Blood Orange Margarita. Did you know they only use fresh pressed juices? You get it when you try it. Worth every cent. I have to admit I love that place. Beat mexican place in SWFL! And we drive down from Punta Gorda...
We've been here a few times now and have always received great service! The food is incredible and you get large portion sizes. Cantina 109 is so much better than any other Mexican restaurant in town. Great value, great food, great service! We especially love the seafood flatbread. And our server Kathrine was so friendly and went above and beyond with her service.
Solid Tex mex spot with great margaritas and tasty salsa! They don’t have spicy salsa options, but that’s okay. Portions are generous!
We held our 2023 Holiday Party here and it was amazing. Great open air porch, perfect for a larger private get together. The food and drinks were great and the service was impeccable. They always had someone checking in, whether on food or drink. I was amazed how they were able to keep all the orders straight considering it was a large party and everyone was 'mingling' and never in the same place.
Mike checked on us throughout the night to ensure everything was going well. We really can't say enough, we'll definitely be back next year.

I ordered their smoked carnitas chimichanga with queso and it was amazing. My fiancé enjoyed his picodillo beef wet burrito. We also really enjoyed the queso, it was so rich in flavor. The service provided by Victoria was excellent. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.
OK, so we just had what was probably the best margarita ever! Was going to have a beer with lunch, but ended up agreeing to what turned out to be an awesome drink! Here’s the proof…. Shout out to Haleigh at the bar! :)
Great location, the service is fantastic, and the restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. I recommend the veggie burrito. If you want to spoil your dog, take them with you! Cantina 109 has a dedicated doggy menu that includes entrees and dessert that can be enjoyed on the patio.

I almost rated it a 3 or 4 as I had to wait a very long time for my appetizer and chips and salsa and EVERYTHING came at one time.
However the food and drinks were great!
I had such a great experience. Came here for a girls night after shopping. The atmosphere and music was vibrant. Everything both smelled and tasted amazing. I tried the Birria tacos for the first time which I loved. I also tried a few things from some of my friends which were also good too. Drinks were delicious. Try the fall spice martini. Personal shout out to Chef Kevin for stopping by our table to ensure we enjoyed our meal. I definitely recommend this place for friends and family.
Great service! I had lunch here with my boyfriend and our server, Spartacus, was absolutely amazing and swift with service. Started with chips and salsa and drinks came straight after. He even told us about a tequila tasting event they have, which I will definitely be back for with friends. Great food and experience… nonetheless I will be back :) loved the smoked old fashioned and mamacita margarita!!!!
Went there for Taco Tues. Great deal on tacos, us could add a margarita for $5. Choice of shell and meat for tacos. Plus they were very full and tasty. Service was good. Sat outside, so chairs a bit less comfortable but a very enjoyable evening. Will definitely be back

Bit of a mix-up on our reservation but it got cleared up quickly.
Our waiter was excellent. She was able to make recommendations and got us drinks right away.
The tacos were amazing and the table side guacamole was a treat.
Unfortunately they forgot 2 dinners out of 8 people and they were 15 min to figure things out. Manager came out to address the issue which was a good move.
Overall it was a good meal and good food.
I will give them another shot.
