Went here for dinner on Friday night! No reservations, but we were seated within 2-3 minutes. Adam, our server, was great! We had all specials explained to us and offered to answer any questions we had.
The food was great also great, the portions are pretty generous! Would recommend this restaurant when in Ft. Myers :)
The food was really good. Had a Caribbean protein bowl with Rice blackened shrimp and spinach. Dessert was a Carmel creame brulee with berries and Carmel sauce. Our server Louis was excellent, making suggestions and very attentive. We ate outside as it was a nice day, but inside is very cute. They gave a raw bar, sushi and a varied menu for seafood lovers. Conveniently located on a nice street with many shops and restaurants. Street or garage parking. Will definitely return next trip through town.
Izzy’s always has the freshest and best tasting seafood. I come many times a month and I’ve never been disappointed. Stone crab is in season so they recently added it to their seasonal menu. For lunch the lobster roll is a perfect choice, comes with a heaping pile of lobster and perfectly cooked waffle fries. My server, Adam, is super professional, attentive, and very knowledgeable of menu items. 10/10
Halibut was amazing…as was the Fruity Pebbles bread pudding. Oh and the margarita was perfect. Our server was personable and attentive without being overbearing. We were there for a birthday dinner and she brought over complimentary key lime pie with a candle. Second time here…would definitely recommend.
Update ! We love the fresh fish! Tonight we had Cold lobster rolls, I guess we were missing the northeast. They were on point and delicious! This is now a GoTo for us! Tonight 10/14. My husband had the peel and eat shrimp. ( loved them) we both had the New Orleans Grouper. - in some restaurants they call there food authentic. Izzy’s delivers! I seriously felt like I was eating a meal on bourbon street New Orleans! The food was amazing. But the glue that holds a great restaurant together is the staff and if the manager is great the staff will follow suit. That’s what Izzy has. Dave is a great mgr. He doesn’t sit back and watch he helps out and constantly encourages his wait staff to be their best! Andrea is the prime example of a great person to work for you! If I could give 10 stars I would!
We loved our experience here! Food was amazing. We had the snapper and swordfish in Caribbean and Far East. We also got the sangria and raw bar. We will definitely be back! Wonderful attentive and informative service and cute atmosphere. We sat outside, which we probably wouldn’t do again since it’s on the sidewalk and everyone walks past your table constantly, but the inside is super cute.
Flavorful and light salad (picture attached) with quick service and a down-to-earth atmosphere. Friendly staff, clean establishment and a wide ranging menu (chicken, seafood, red meat, vegetarian, etc). Competitive prices ($13 for a salad + protein price). Will be back again.
Had a great time and enjoyed all the food and beverages offered by Izzy’s. They sat us right away and the waiter was right there to take a drink order. All kinds of clientele from families to couples to singles at the bar. Ordered a fish dip appetizer and it was yummy. We had the grouper piccata and the fried admirals basket. They were superb and just as ordered. No room for dessert. Beers were ice cold and waiter most attentive. Definitely a return. #stevensleavin
While searching around for a seafood restaurant downtown, I read the reviews from others and gave Izzys a try. From entering the restaurant to being seated with fast service. Our waitress was very helpful answering our questions with the menu items. The food was great, all cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the taste and presentation of our dishes. Would definitely eat here again.
Have gone many times, and my wife and I have fallen in love with their goat cheese and beet salad. They also have a Cajun gumbo that is truly delicious. Many fresh fish & oyster options. Gotta try the Momma Mia oysters best I've ever had. Great venue, well lit, airy, and inviting.
