GREAT local spot for Chinese food. Amazing dumplings, soup, fried rice, lo mein... You can't go wrong eating here! It's a great place with a ton of options for everyone. Staff is super friendly. Food is always GREAT! 👌
Can’t say enough good things about Ginger Bistro! Food is excellent comes out piping hot, staff is very friendly and accommodating, space is very clean and modern. Mongolian Beef, Egg rolls, Potstickers , Chicken lettuce wraps…everything I’ve had on the menu is delicious.
Great dim sum at the Ginger Bistro. The fried rice with chicken and pork was very tasty. The spring rolls were nice and hot and the service and atmosphere were great. The place was almost empty when we arrived and packws before we finished. Food arrived on time.
You will leave filled - especially if you order a lot of the dim sum options. Everything we had tasted great (consistent each time visited). Make sure to get there early before the rush on weekends. My favorites (from dim sum menu) are the eggplant, pork bun, sesame ball, egg tart, glutinous rice/chicken in lotus leaf all with chrysanthemum tea. The other main entrees are good too (I've had in the past). My friends and I take a special visit up to this restaurant since there's nothing like it near Naples.
It's one of the best dim sum places in florida so far. Way better than the ones in Orlando and Tampa. Everything was fresh and delicious. Dan tat was nice and flaky. The char sui bao was made in-house. The only few complaints are that the soup dumpling was sour, tasted like someone added too much vinegar, and the cheung fun was a little cold in the center, possibly premade or bought in. Closest to the real thing.
We ordered a good amount of food for the 2 of us, and it was $70, including tip.
Oh man this place does not disappoint, we had the BBQ combo with all four items cooked to perfection. The yang chow fried rice was amazing with huge pieces of shrimp. Also the dim sum was so good that we should of ordered more. The service was on point even with the busy lunch crowd.
Sitting arrangement is great for lunch dates or dinner dates for groups over four. The price is middle road not high end but not lowest. The taste is good and the presentation is wonderful. I had a duck and noodles which was absolutely delicious. The dumplings were tasty also. We will be a frequent customer moving forward. My wife and I came here for dinner and we were very happy. Recommend dine in over takeout for authenticity.
Was craving dim sum 🥟, decided to stop by at Ginger bistro for a quick lunch between the showings. Dim sum was served pretty quickly, piping hot in a fun 3 tier bamboo steamer. I had ginger soup buns, beef tripe w ginger scallion, and beef shumai. Very delicious , and a glass of cold plum wine was a great pairing. I wish they had scallop dumpling, wanted to try that too..maybe next time : )) great place for Asian cuisine in Ft myers.
Despite the relatively old-looking plaza that it is a part of, Ginger Bistro offers a fairly impressive ambiance and the best Chinese food I have had since moving to Florida and that's a good 10 years worth of experience.
The food is really authentic and offered at a very sensible price. My only complaint was that they did not offer refills. I had a wonderful Peking duck and my wife enjoyed an unusual spin on shrimp with their walnut shrimp dish.
They only serve dim sum until 3pm, which made me a little sad, but everything I had was excellent.
If you want to smell something wonderful, just walk back toward the kitchen where they have the ducks hanging and your nose is in for an amazing experience.
