Good food great company, went 130pm on a Wednesday great time to go to avoid waiting. Had the chicken cesear pasta salad, monte Cristo, New Orleans pasta, all very good. Just need to check glasses before giving to customers as we got one that had broken toothpick in it. Still I would definitely recommend this place.
The food is great.and that was just the appetizers so far..The only place around now that has Monte Cristo sandwich..Yum..The prices will definitely bring us back too.

Cheddars Scratch Kitchen, University Plaza, Ft. Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on just the food.
I did not dine in. I just got 2 meals to go. I order fried chicken and the meat loaf.
First the chix. I was not very impress with the fried chix I got 2 fried chix breast. Though they tasted ok I hate the white meat... As was this the coating was fine but as ALL white meat it was too dried out... I did like the home style green beans. Mash potato were a bit lumpy so you know they made them did here. The gravy was made with bacon NOT pork sausage. So not very good as far as I am concern.
The meat loaf was interesting. It tasted good with bits of bell pepper inside. There was a 2 ounce container of a sweet/salty with onion sauce. I liked it. I got green beans & mash taters.
Over all good food. It was ready when I return to pick it up.
Here is my 2 cents on the food. The portions were friendly. The onion rings looked and tasted like homemade. For the price enough for 2 people and tasty. I got the chicken fried steak. The mash potatoes were good with a hint of garlic. Green beans outstanding. Ohh yes the heart attack fried steak.. yyyuuuummmmyy. Enough to take home. Cooked to perfection seasoned properly and almost did not need a knife. Over all good american faire for the tastebuds.
Now some chit chat. This was my first time visit. I am not sure what I was expecting. But it was very tastefully decorated. I was seated promptly. (This is on a sunday around 12 pm.) My server was Luis. I was suprise with some 3 X 5 cards about the menu and Luis. It answered in advance questions that I had. I thought this is a brilliant idea. Thumbs up Cheddar's. Service and the smiles were excellent. An overall great experience. My one issue was I did not get my Texas size toast with my meal. :-(. My oh my.. But hey there was more than enough vittles that I did not remember until I was driving home. Plus my waist did not need it.
Over all this is one of the best chain eatery I have gone to. I liked it. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Went there with wife for dinner and it was pretty crowded but we didn't have to wait. Service was very good and our drink orders were taken within a couple of minutes after we were seated. Ordered a club sandwich and wife had the buffalo chicken wraps. Food was very good and the waiter (Evan?) was very good, will definitely go back.
Good Value. Been here a couple of times with the family. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. The service is always friendly, and we've never had a problem. I'll return here in the future.
Cheddars is the most bang for your buck you will find at the Gulf Coast Town Center. I usually avoid chain resturants but this one is worth the journey. There wil probally be a wait but trust me it's well worth it.
Good food, a bit unimaginative.. This place is a great, service good for a new restaurant, overall a great addition near the University.
The menu is a bit boring, they are not very creative with their menu items. But they run a scratch kitchen, everything is made fresh. That scores big points among us foodies. Fresh is good.
Ate in the bar area anf it is pretty noisy.

Absolutely awesome and I’m definitely coming back. The food was great. The service was awesome. My server answered our questions or got the answers to our questions. I did choose the New Orleans pasta dish and instead of the spicy sauce that came with it, they swapped it out for Alfredo sauce, so that wasn’t so spicy for me. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was so comfortable. Definitely coming back.
The food and service was great! It was really busy but they were good at getting things to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The honey butter croissant was amazing! My hubby got the Monte Cristo and loved it! Especially with the raspberry preserves to dip it in. I got the Chicken Alfredo and it was good. The Cheddar's Painkiller was delicious but pretty strong as an FYI. All in all a good place!
Went to Cheddars last Sunday for an early birthday dinner with family. They don’t take reservations but we called ahead and told them a party of 18 for 6:30. The entire party was there by 6:20 and they were able to seat us by 6:40. The food was very good and tasty. I ordered a Sangria and it was perfect. The server was amazing to handle a party of 18 all by herself. We throughly enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. It was perfect. I would highly recommend anyone to go there.
Now I've read some of the reviews some give it three, two stars well as a Google reviewer we're going to see what this place is all about it gets a 4.3 and check it out and we'll give you honest review on whether or not this place is worth coming to. This is our first time here and let's see what's all about. So far not so bad the atmosphere is pretty good the service is ok not the best then again it's 13th of us. Food not bad. Yes I would recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼
I ordered pick up and it went really well. I purchased the Chedders trio sampler, which I highly recommend because the tenders were great and I love the artichoke dip. My sister really liked her pasta dish as well.

My wife and I dined at this restaurant and enjoyed:
• Grilled 8oz salmon served with creamy mashed potatoes and a delectable broccoli casserole.
• Indulgent Shrimp and Chicken Alfredo (with an additional charge), accompanied by fragrant garlic bread and tender broccoli.
Our server, Ana D, was exceptionally friendly and provided impeccable service. She not only answered our inquiries but also offered valuable insights into various menu selections. The food was good, and the pricing was reasonable, enhancing the overall experience. The ambiance nice and calm. We extend our gratitude to Ana for a good experience!

I've been here a few times in the past with friends and family, but never got to leave a review until now. This place never ceases to amaze me with its food and atmosphere. They've managed to make it cater to a wide range of people no matter the time of day or age group. I'm going to be covering the different menu items I've aleady tried prior to this review.
They start you off with Honey Butter Croissants on the house based on the number of people at the table. Extras will cost a few dollars, but well worth it.
The New Orleans Pasta was amazing for the taste, portion size, presentation, and price. We had to get a to-go box for it, but it was still impressive even as a leftover.
There were more chicken tenders than I would expect for the price when I ordered the No.8 Special Chicken Tender Platter. It seems to be a popular menu item, because it was hard to not overhear other customers ordering this too. It most certainly did not disappoint on that front either.
Their Chicken Alfredo is also an impressive menu item in similar essence to the New Orleans Pasta. As such, it boasts great value for the portion size and taste.
They have both a Country Fried Steak and Country Fried Chicken menu item. I tried the latter on one visit and was not disappointed. In fact, the portion size was also much bigger than I had expected from them. Much larger than the usual establishments that offer this kind of food.
Overall, I've given my ratings based on the food, the price, and the atmosphere. Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is well worth the visit with friends and family alike. I'll be going again in the future to try out other menu items. All the servers in my past visits have been especially attentive. The most recent one, Bob, did an amazing job keeping our needs locked down.
Value restaurant. Good food at a reasonable price, especially considering costs of food these days. I had the white fish platter. It came with a generous portion of fish & 2 sides (Food was a little salty )My wife had the crispy chicken salad. Meals were served with buttery croissants. Service was good and atmosphere was nice.
Haven't been here for awhile glad we came back.

Honey butter Croissants were delicious Country fried steak was good and the chicken pot pie reminded us of days gone by. Waiter was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Every thing was made from scratch. Will come back!
