The food is excellent! Everything.. I mean EVERYTHING is prepared and made to order.. From the crab cake nuggets to the baked stuffed redfish special!
Beer, wine, and wine based spirits.
The bands are very interactive.. We recently saw #PainInTheGrass .. an excellent blue grass band that played everything..
In season, call for a reservation.. or wait on the covered patio. Out of season, call to make sure they are open.. That’s how they roll in Ft Myers!
Loved the crab cake, fried shrimp & fish. The green beans were awesome!!!!
Very friendly best crab cakes around i drove 30 mins from north cape to try it out and was not disappointed will be coming back. I was the youngest person there by at least 2 world wars but I was welcomed in like I was a regular
The fried catfish is good. The fried shrimp was average. It is not a fast food place. The entertainment is "interesting". Huge helpings and great young owner.
Nice mom and pop restaurant. Food is cooked to order. The live music was a plus, and the owner gave us a lot of history in the little restaurant. We noticed there were no cars on the parking lot and thought they were closed. I'm glad that we decided to check them out! Just remember to bring cash!
Was skeptical, but excellent food. Glad it was not a seafood only with just a salad option place. The burger was cooked perfectly. Loved the hush puppies with peppers and fried green tomatoes. My friend had the crab cakes and loved them. Good service and entertainment also.
Very special place in Fort Myers. A must-visit. Good food, run by mother & daughter
It's great, but it's their way and that's that. Experiences vary from talking about it for two days or complaining about it for two days. Either way, it's not Burger King and it ain't your way. I have mixed feelings, but when it's good, it's good enough to go back after a not so good experience. Uniquely old Florida experience that can't be found many places anymore. Try it. You'll have an experience no matter what.
Been living in the area for over 20 years and finally tried this place. Nothing fancy about the decor, food was good and price reasonable. Band took over an hour to set up and do sound checks so we never got to hear them. Probably will go back at some point.
This is a small, cute family owned restaurant that offers excellent food. We ordered the fish and chips (swale) comes with two side $12.99 and the crab cake appetizer. (3 huge cakes). The portions were large and we both loved it! We did take out for dinner and I noticed the restaurant was empty. It seems covid has impacted their business as they are near the beach and tourist areas. I will go back again. Excellent meal!
The food was very good . Happened to have gone on a night that they had live music and we enjoyed it. We were leery about going because the place was small. Ended up to be a nice experience. It is a family-owned restaurant and the family this very nice. it was one of the first restaurants in the area and has some neat history behind it. Important to know it is cash only and also not fast food. Each meal is prepared once you order it, not a fast production line.
Really cool little restaurant. The food, crab cakes in particular, is awesome. Live music a lot of nights. Great atmosphere. Definitely old Fort Meyers style. Highly recommend.
Great food. My girlfriend and I both had the baked Clarence parmesan chicken. Was so good with hushpuppies. The fried portabella mushrooms were also excellent. It's all home cooked do they take their time cooking it. Our waitress was really nice. The owner came out and explained how they did things.
Pleasant little family owned establishment! The owner even came out to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying our dinner! Nothing flashy or fancy but felt right at home!
