I love this place! Excellent ice cream and equally excellent variety of gourmet popcorn. The owners and staff are super friendly. Only drawback is that you have to walk past the stinky cigar bar to get to it.
They have a great variety of popcorn and ice cream which may seem a little expensive at first but once you taste it, you know it's worth the price. Also, the staff was so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend stopping in and getting some treats.
Popcorn is fresh and delicious. Comes in so many unexpected varieties. You can sample some too. They also serve Love Boat ice cream.

My husband and I come here every Saturday night after dinner. The service is always great and no matter who is working the counter we are always greeted with a smile. The popcorn is amazing, but the ice cream is devine!! You can’t go wrong with whatever you order.
I love to come here with my family! My 6 and 4 year old love to pick out a unique flavor of ice cream to try. My husband LOVES the assorted popcorn flavors: jalapeno, bacon& cheddar, Chicago style, pickle juice, and their very own Fort Myers Mix names a few fun flavors. There are tons of interesting chocolate candy options as well as "old fashioned" candy options too. This is a fantastic stop after a long day of sight seeing or festival going (we stopped in after a Christmas festival). I love that it's clean and the associates are so helpful. They will also ship their popcorn and candy treats anwhere in the continental US! So glad we found this sweet little shop! We will be back many more times!!
Fun ice cream/candy shop. They have a wide variety of selections and can pretty much make any ice cream treat your heart desires. Highly recommended. Great place to bring the kids after a sports game or just a special treat. Very reasonably priced as well, so the adults can splurge on themselves along with the kids for a change.
Stopped in sidecar treats today. This place is magical . they serve ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered bacon and cookies .we purchased tons of popcorn and ice cream. The flavors for the popcorn were all unique and really good. The ice cream was delicious. It's definitely a must try.
LOVE Sidecar!! Delicious popcorn and Love Boat Ice Cream conveniently located in downtown. Super nice owners always make this visit a fun one! This place beats Scoops with its eyes closed. Don't waste your money there. Coming back again!!
I love the varieties of popcorn flavors they offer. Always hard to choose just one or leave without purchase ice cream/sorbet. I purchased my husband a popcorn blast tin so he can refill instead of purchasing the small bags.
A fun shop with friendly service. When walking around downtown Fort Myers and you need a sweet treat, this place is worth checking out. A large space with tables and chairs. The Love Boat ice cream is the best. If you have never enjoyed the creamy amazingness of Love Boat ice cream, Sidecar Treats can hook you up. The multiple sweet and savory bagged popcorn (I had the milk chocolate and peanut butter popcorn) options at a low cost will satisfy everyone. The bathroom for customers only was very clean. My only suggestion would be a section of unique gum and candy bars. Enjoy!
Try a bit of everything! A flavor of popcorn for anyone's taste or mood. The finest quality ice cream in a ton of creative tastes and combos. The adult (alcoholic) milk shakes were to die for. Not to mention the staff is always very pleasant and nice to deal with.
