Biggy's Place, Fowler St., Fort Myers, Fl., Growling of the tummy and chatter. Here is another downhome local joint. I was divided over a waffle or meatloaf...I went carnivore and got the meat.
I decided on some sweet tea. This is usually a in house made deal. But always ask. Instead of salad I went for the lentil soup.... A great choice. Very thick w/lentils, carrots and meat. Loved the flavor. Now smash potatoes w/brown gravy and meat loaf. .The potatoes were smash not whipped. I found small chucks or taters in side. So you know it was hand done very good. .....OBSERVATION: I have noticed the last 3 times I have had meat loaf ( 3 different restaurant) it was presented with a steak knife??? WHY??? It is hand shaped ground beef....I think it is going to be tough. It never is tough,So whats up with the extra sharp blade?
Back to this meat loaf. I was not too impress. Not much flavor. A brown gravy but lacking some garlic or onions. Or just maybe what the locals prefer mediocre plain food. BUT all in all reasonable prices, good quantity & quality food. I do recommend this eatery

Great place for breakfast and lunch. The food and service is top notch. The owners are always available and very hands on. Try the pecan pancakes you will not be disappointed.

Great service for a large crowd. We had a group of 25 people. When we arrived they had the table ready for us. They waited on us, took our diverse orders, all separate checks, and brought the food in the same time that it would have taken to serve a table for two.
The food was OK, nothing really special. I'd say that it is a nice, average Mom and Pop place.
Breafast was great. Friendly staff with very reasonable prices and portions. We will be back!
Classic mom and pop style diner. They had a lot of regular customers that the servers knew by name, always a good sign. Portions were large. Very tasty!! My hubby had the chicken fried steak. I had the breakfast skillet. They have a lunch menu that looked good. Breakfast is served all day. I didn't see mimosas or beer on the menu. Limited outdoor seating. Service was phenomenal!! Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quick, hot, and accurate. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.
This place feels so homey. It was filled with laughter and every table looked like they were enjoying a meal with old friends. The food felt the same. Very good biscuits and gravy.
We are so happy to find this place. The service and food were excellent. We definitely will be back.

First time at Biggy's Place. What an awesome spot. Great food at excellent prices. We stopped to have breakfast, arriving just before noon. It's a busy spot, but we were seated right away. Nora our waitress was superb! Polite, professional, and on the ball. Couldn't ask for better. We had a Western Omelette adding sausage and cheese (because you just have to) and the French Toast Platter with Coffee and a hot Tea. Definately on my will return list soon. Next time, for lunch.
Good food at good prices. I noticed a lot of repeat customers coming in and going out. I guess that’s a good sign about the service and food. They could use some renovations though. Counters, tables and seating could use updating. There’s lots of seating and lots wait staff. Our waitress was friendly and anticipated our needs. There’s also lots of free parking and it’s best to map out this place.
My husband ordered the breakfast. I ordered the cheese burger with a side of fries and Cole slaw. The slaw was terrible. I like a little bit of sugar in mine. However they really add the sugar. You couldn't taste the cabbage for the overload of sugar. If you are diabetic please don't order the slaw.
Our first time here, tried it out while in town for a wedding. The food was delicious, especially the biscuits & sausage gravy. I’m from the Midwest & super picky about my gravy, there’s was on point. The location was great, easy access, plenty of parking & the restaurant was large & very clean. Our server was very pleasant & helpful.

Excellent diner with a simple menu of breakfast and lunch. Burger and fries were awesome. The coffee is really good. My server, Amanda, was attentive and checked on me regularly. The other servers did as well.
The western omelet is very good.
The restaurant has a classic TV theme. It has clean restrooms and a ton of parking. The location is good.
Biggy is a nice guy.
