We ventured out to try new cuisine. I had the traditional rice/lamb dish which was delicious. It was served with a side salad of basil, tomato, cucumber, and onion. Husband tried the pork kebabs. Perfect portions, plus I took a bit home! The bread is a must, as are the blitntzes. Mouth watering goodness, akin to a Spanish empanada, but the wrap is sift and thin as a crepe. Service was very friendly and efficient. Good prices, great food. We'll be going back!!

My mother enjoyed a journey to Uzbekistan many years ago, so knowing there was an Uzbek restaurant in town was intriguing. The place is nicely decorated, but was not busy for lunch on a Saturday. Our server was very helpful explaining the different dishes and my knowing some of the Russian equivalents was also helpful. We ended up ordering a bunch of dishes and shared tastes. First was bread, Non, which was very good. First was Chuchvara, meat dumplings in a clear broth, which was much like Russian Pelmeni. It came with a homemade yogurt, which was excellent. Next was Chebureki, a fried meat pie, also excellent. We shared a Achiichuk salad, the traditional Uzbek salad. My wife had the Uzbek Palov, which was very good. I had a beef kabob and a chicken kabob, both very good to excellent. The spicing was different than other kabobs I know and it was all good. We ended by trying their baklava, made with pecans, which was very good. We might make it back here if we can before leaving the area. There is more to try. They were putting reserved signs on many tables when we left, so it looks like we got in before a large group. That is good to see, since we want a unique place like this to be successful. We did not mind the Uzbek music video station they were playing on the TV, it added to the feeling of being somewhere else.

Stopped in on a whim, was not disappointed. If you want a chance to sample some Uzbek cuisine, this is a great opportunity. I ordered lemon tea, beef tongue, and palov. Tea: I was dining solo, so I got the whole pot to myself. It was sweet and piping hot, but plenty tart. Perfect match for the dishes I ordered. Beef tongue: if you've never tried this before, I highly recommend this dish. I ordered a half portion, which was enough for an appetizer. It's served like a cold cut, with a little salt and a side of sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Strong beef flavor, very tender. Palov: this is a rice dish with lamb. Highly spiced, lots of delicious vegetables and raisins, which really make the flavors pop. Filling, but doesn't weigh you down like many rice dishes. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and it feels much bigger than you would think from the outside. If you're passing through, give it a try!

Great food, small place! Very authentic central Asian food, but be warned that they sell out very quickly, so it’s always a good idea to call ahead of time. They have Baltika beer which is very uncommon in South West Florida, but if you want to try something different, this is definitively the place. Also, be warned, this restaurant is close during the summer, so make sure you take advantage during high season.

Went there for the first time last evening. The other couple in the restaurant was speaking Russian or a similar language, which was a good sign. Food is delicious. Recommend the Uzbek traditional salad, beef shawarma, Russian beer. My wife thought there a little too much emphasis on pastry/bread, but the fillings were very tasty. Maybe try a soup next time. Highly recommend .

Fort Myers really needs more authentic and ethnic diversity in its food scene. We love going here, have since it opened. Consistently great tasting food, attentive staff and a unique trip to another part of the world, through its dishes. Enjoy. We are going there right now. Seriously, we are.

I like trying new things, but this was completely different. I was very happy with everything from start to finish! My mom who is a very picky eater was also very happy. We had a taste of pretty much everything and I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something extraordinary! The decor was well done.

I liked the place. I had guessed the cuisine would be Iranian or Afghan, but it was Uzbek. The food and the prices were both good, and the atmosphere much more upscale than you would expect from a place in a shopping plaza. I'd definitely go again.
