This is the best Italian food & pizza place we have found in the Fort Myers area. We moved from New York one year ago and have been searching for a pizza place that tastes like home and this by far exceeded our expectations! We had the chicken parm meal, bbq chicken pizza, and Caesar salad and all were top notch! We will definitely be returning!
This place had a great atmosphere and excellent food! Definitely recommend it and we’ll be coming back soon ourselves.

My first time here tonight and I was totally impressed! The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the food was delicious. Even my Italian boyfriend approved (which is saying a lot). I noticed a review that said the portion sizes were too small and I would have to disagree. There is so much food! Highly recommend for a good, local Italian place.

The dish was rich and satisfying and was served with an excellent eye for presentation. The dessert (chocolate cannoli) was equally impressive both in taste and in presentation. Even the portion size was more than enough and still tasted great as a second meal later. This is a place that is well worth a second (or third...) visit and a first if you've never been.
This place is AWESOME! My wife and I have been looking for a good homemade pizza place in Fort Myers, and we've definitely found it in Il Forno. We visited a few weeks ago with family and tried the barbecue chicken pizza and the margherita. Both were top-notch - perfectly baked dough, balanced toppings, tons of flavor - and the service was great as well. It's a bit of a drive for us (we live in Bonita) but very well worth it for a great slice of pizza.
We have ordered pizza to go several times and it’s always been delicious, so tonight we decided to eat at the location and order food other than pizza (apprehensively since the Italian food down here is not the greatest- especially when you’re originally from an Italian dominated city in Ohio). We were wowed with the quality and taste of the food (I had rigatoni bolognese & hubby had spaghetti puttanesca), along with the friendliness and efficiency of our server! SO glad to have found somewhere that makes authentic Italian food in a family friendly atmosphere! We will definitely be back, and recommend to our friends and family! In the words of our 3 year old son- “thumb’s up great job”! :)
A step up from the last restaurant that was here. We had the mussels as an appetizer. They were amazing, and our friendly waitress, Chelsea, brought over homemade garlic rolls that were fresh and warm to “dunk”. We had 2 kinda of pizza for dinner, which was another excellent choice. Can’t wait to come back.
The best Italian food in SW Fl. My Sicilian husband & I have tried many of the dishes & have never been disappointed. Every meal us made fresh to order & in house. Also the tiramisu is a wonderful ending (if you take half your mral hime). Definitely eat here.
I was just browsing around on Google maps, and I randomly discovered this place. I looked at the menu online and I immediately knew I had to try this place out. I tried the white pizza, and it was so delicious! It's been very difficult trying to find good white pizza around this area, but I finally found a good one! They have other food items, as well, which I hope to try soon. I've been recommending this place to everyone I know. You should try it, too!
Really excellent food and service. Eggplant parmesan with fettuccine... Obviously homemade and generous portions. Others had pizza, soup or a daily special. All choices had guests in my party raving about quality. Will surely go again.
