Best breakfast in SW Florida. Awesome home fries. Wish biscuits were firmer and flair but always great food and service.
Continues to be best breakfast and lunch place here. Just discovered smothered home fries taking my favorite dish up sevrral notches. Great pancakes too. Good home cooking stuff. Not exactly health food but eat half and take the rest home for tomorrow or later.

Don't Look, Just Eat!. When walking into the Fowler Street Grill, I couldn't help but to reminisce about all the dingy coffee shops I would stagger into after a long night of bar hopping in NYC. It was my fist time at the tiny restaurant and was surprised how busy they were. The waitresses Lori and Val were warm and welcoming; told us we could sit where ever we liked. As I slid on the greasy tiled floor towards our table all I could think was "What am I doing here?". The fact is the Fowler Street Grill is grimy. However, Big B and I still decided to order breakfast. Big B ordered 3 eggs over easy, bacon, pancakes, home-fries, whole wheat toast and coffee. Yep, he was hungry. I settled on a Swiss, bacon, mushroom and spinach omelette with home-fries, rye toast and coffee. Val brought us our coffee hot and quick. It didn't have that weird Florida water taste to my surprise. Shortly after, our breakfast came. Despite the horrible decor and grubby surroundings the food was delicious. The home-fries were chunks of Idaho potatoes, crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside mixed with bits of sweet grilled onions. The pancakes were fluffy with a touch of vanilla and the eggs were perfectly done, over easy. Needless to say Big B was happy. My omelette was stuffed with plenty of spinach, mushrooms, bacon and cheese. Every bite was beyond satisfying. After Big B finished eating he asked to use the restroom, which was located outside the restaurant but in the same building. Kinda like a gas station. And although I had to go, judging by the place on the inside I dare not venture outside. Big B came back inside and judging by his face, I knew not to ask. The only thing he said was it's not air-condition as he sipped his ice water. So my final review, will I go back, more than likely. Should you go? It's a must...but don't look, just eat.
HUGE BURGER. The burger was HUGE!, and I didn't even order "The Monster". Fries were fresh and not the tasteless steak fries you tend to see at a mom and pop. I also got wings, naked, good size and decent spice, (for real heat don't shy to try the 911 because the hot aren't very hot). Also had everything delivered as I work right down the street and it was here in about 25 minutes.
I will probably order from here once a week now.
Great, old-fashioned greasy spoon. My favorite is the fried grouper sandwich. It's delicious and huge!
First thing I noticed is the coffee cups are now larger. For a good home breakfast a must for something original.
Wow guys there's a first for everything full 5 star 🌟 🤩 this is a place from my childhood that I have not been able to come to in the last 5 years 😢 so surprised to have the overwhelming feeling of satisfaction as we ate. the food was amazing 👏 😋 and the waitress was very attentive and friendly not to mention by no means bad on the eyes 😉 ....lol absolutely love coming back ❤️ 💕 💓
I have passed this place on several occasions and decided to place an order after moving to Fort Myers. I got a deal for $9.99 Chicken tenders, fries, and pasta salad. Fries were crispy and tenders were well seasoned. I called in my takeout order and it was ready within 10minutes.
What a sweet find! Just a good old small diner with fresh home cooking. I had the sausage gravy biscuit. Really good and it came with real potatoes home fries. Everything that everybody ordered look wonderful. I can't wait to go back with my family and try a bunch of stuff! Support small local businesses!!
Delicious food, quick service, great atmosphere... what more could you ask for. Excellent spot for locals. Been is business for years. I always recommend fowler street grill. They have never disappointed.
I had an excellent breakfast here. Very friendly wait staff! Quite a bunch of characters having breakfast and lunch here. Food is great, reasonably priced, and big portions. You'll get 2 meals out of your plate. Highly recommended! 👍
Today was my first time eating here, but it won't be my last! Just moved to the area and I was told my many people to try out Fowler Street Grill. The environment was cozy, the staff was fantastic! I feel awful for not remembering our waitress' name but she was an absolute delight!
I got the chicken cordon bleu sandwich (which was HUGE and delicious) with the best fries I've ever had. Now I'm worried since they deliver that this is all I will ever eat and might gain quite a few pounds!
Found this hidden gem this morning. Willie our waitress was amazing and the food is fresh home cooked southern style breakfast. Definitely bring your appetite !!! They offer delivery and catering as well. Cant wait to try the pulled pork on my next visit. A must try when in Fort Myers.

Our regular lunch place was only taking cash that day so we had to choose somewhere else quickly. We were not disappointed.
