My wife and I went for our 30th Anniversary on a Tuesday evening out of season. It was not crowded. Very nice, relaxing atmosphere, with a live piano background. We had the Chicken Liver Pate and the Fried Calamari as appetizers. Lovely light breading on the Calamari. Pate was wonderful. For our main courses my wife had Chicken Marsala. The chicken was tender and she loved the sauce. I stayed with seafood, having a Calamari, Clam Linquini in a nice marinara. The portions were just right. We will be back and would definitely recommend the House of Pasta if you are in SW Florida and in the mood for some authentic, traditional Italian fare.
Great place to dine. Service was incredibly kind and pleasant. I have to say the food tasted superb and I would definitely come back just to have the flavors again. The price was a bit pricey, so that’s why I probably won’t come back too often, but it was definitely the taste of the food it was like the grandmother brought her Recipes over from Italy, and shared them with us. Definitely recommend coming here.
We had a wonderful time, delicious food and great service last Saturday at the House of Pasta! Thank you to our server Kathy! She was friendly and and accommodating especially with my niece’s gluten allergy. Everyone enjoyed their meal! We will definitely be back! Thank you!
Excellent Italian food, best that we’ve had in Ft Myers. All of our dishes were fresh and delightful. Dessert was great too, all made in house. We’ll be back!!!
Atmosphere was very inviting along with the low soft music when you enter. The very attentive hostess greets you with a sincere warm smile. The tables are set up so you can have a private conversation within your table and not others. The food was delicious. Lots of robust flavor and truly italian style. Will definitely be a hot spot for "season" so get there now.
Great service!! Amazing food. Every single thing that we ordered was delicious. Even the dessert and macchiatos/ coffee were all outstanding.

We frequented Rene's for lunch often so when they closed and there was activity in the building, I was anxious to see what was next. So when I saw it was open, my wife and daughter and I stopped by for dinner. My first impressions upon walking in were how fresh, updated, and modern the build out looks. The lighting, trim and boxwood look awesome. The bar was very inviting.
I ordered the chicken parm, and as I was as impressed with the presentation of the entree as I was with the restaurant when we walked in. My meal was fantastic. My wife had the gnocchi and loved it. We ordered a couple cocktails and my daughter had a cappuccino.
The place overall has a really cool vibe and will be hard to get into once the word gets out! We will be back.
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in ft Myers. Don't be fooled by the small strip mall location. This place is mangia! Outdoor seating available. The bread is like no other! If it's slow, the chef will make you whatever you want! They have a special occasionally, (fried gnocchi) that is phenomenal. This place deserves to be much more crowded! Great owners, great staff, awesome chefs!!
The liver pate app is outstanding. We have it every time we go here. I wasn't real hungry this time, so after sharing the pate, I ordered the octopus salad. Another 5 stars! Had to save room for the almond cake, our go to dessert to share. ☆☆☆☆☆
I'm still here. We had a horrible day as our resort was a bust. Eating here fixed it. Everyone's food was delish. We had the shrimp and asparagus risotto, the lasagna bolognese, a simple linguine marinara, and Gamberi Buzara. They were all really good, the vegetables from the side dish were exquisite. The tiramisu and the coffee were also really good.
