Called ahead & had the food picked up. It was hot & ready but the person picking up the food was a few cents short so the person checking her out took the change from the tip jar. That would never happen at most places. I normally don't order white rice because not everyone knows how to cook it & it usually ends up tasteless. The white rice was delicious & will be my on order from now on. The entire lunch was delicious. We have ordered from Tropical Mambo many times, have tried many things & have never been disappointed. The food, the staff & the service...all A-1!!!
Go there every week and get the fried pork chunks. the owner/cook is awsome, love the food. Tried alot of the places similar in the cape and this place, the food and the taste is the best. Just found out they do delivery I will also call for delivery. Hands down must try. The prices are great, I usually have left overs cause of the amount of food you get.
This place is right behind my job, and I order here frequently. The food is always delicious and hot. Very reasonable priced as well, and the staff is great. Their English is too good, but hey who cares because the food is delicious!
Really delicious food, best Cuban I've tried in the area. Only reason I don't give it five stars is the ordering system is a little weird and the restaurant isn't organized very well. Still the staff are friendly and justifiably proud of their food.
A random find and what a treasure!! The food is authentic and the best Cuban food I have ever had!! We had the lunch specials which included our choice of the lot. I chose the yellow rice and red beans with a mix of the beef stew (as the cashier called it) and roasted pork. He had the black beans n rice with the beef. As well as a side of yucca. We also got a beef empanada! And side of Mofongo that was served with the roasted pork. Needless to say we walked out with togo boxes. The serving we large. The service was excellent as well. The ladies behind the counter were so sweet and helpful. They we fast, clean and polite. Sucha great experience. We joked that this place was worth the hour drive down just to eat here! But honestly I would totally do it! Haha
Delicious appetizers. The pastries are devious with coffee. Wonderful customer service.
