Food is always delicious, this location in lake worth is one of my favorites. The wait staff is mostly good. We have had a few not so friendly but I wouldn’t say it’s a deal breaker. I would recommend this location and this concept of your liking for good Mexican food with an affordable price tag.
This was my first time eating at a Mexican Inn Cafe and it was a pretty good experience. I ordered the brisket enchiladas and the brisket inside was amazing. Easily some of the best brisket I've had in a long time. The service was decent, other orders with my group were messed up, but the issues were quickly fixed.
Friendly staff, clean restaurant, efficient waitress, she was kind and attentive.
Cameron was an exceptionally good waiter. He was polite, courteous and kept us well informed. We had a very pleasant experience with him as our waiter. With him there we will definitely come again
Fairly good Tex-Mex food with a very casual, laid back vibe. The tortilla on my quesadilla was buttery smooth, cheese was melty and steak was hot. Very delicious. If you’re looking for a more authentic Mexican restaurant, head somewhere else.
Today I happened to remember my experience with this restaurant from the 70's on Lancaster Rd. in east Fort Worth. Found this location near me in Lake Worth and ordered using DDash.Ordered enchiladas three ways, beef, cheese and chicken. The order was delivered promptly as ordered with complimentary chips and salsa. Perfection! Why have I waited so long? This Really hit the spot! I have nothing but compliments and good memories.
Made my way here with some co-workers for lunch on their recommendation. Service was prompt, the environment was not noisy and the staff was very friendly. I had the chicken and rice lunch special, and it was very well made. Others had some of the other lunch specials and none were disappointed. Will return.
Wonderful experience on our first visit!
We decided to give this place a try after seeing the positive reviews.
My husband had the chicken burrito that was smothered in 3 different sauces with rice and beans on the side. He enjoyed every bite!
I had the chicken burrito bowl. It was delicious I just wish there was more chicken. It was small and diced up but there was hardly any meat. There was a ton of rice at the bottom of the bowl. The corn also didn’t add anything to the bowl itself, wasn’t even sweet, no taste. Next time I may try the fajitas. I do lower carb so it was nice to see bowls on the menu (even though I kept the rice and beans on this visit). The menu itself was great. I felt like it had a good variety for anyone to enjoy. I did find it a little weird though that they don’t have “Mexican” options for kids. (Didn’t bring the kids with us on this trip but I gandered at the kids menu anyway) they only offered american dishes. Most Mexican places will do a small taco plate for kids.
The chips and salsa though. They’re dangerous in a good way. So so good. They’re chips I have never seen them done the way they do them. They looked like home made frito chips. They were greasy but tasty. The salsas were very good. We will def be back, we left full and very satisfied that we tried it out.
The food quality was superb. My wife said the nachos were possibly the best shes ever had, and my taco plate was delicious. The homemade corn tortillas are the best!!! The service was good though i didn't get corn tortillas until i asked and they are supposed to be complimentary with the chips and salsa and our waiter disappeared after we ordered our food and we didn't see him again until a long wait for our food. This was at lunchtime, ordering the lunch special, which by design should come out a little faster.
Plus the air conditioner was too low and it was quite cold in there.
Overall, great place to dine!
It's been a while since I have eaten at a Mexican Inn, and I seem to remember it being better than this. It was okay though. Margarita was yummy, strong. Portions were big. The service was excellent.
