We dine in or pick up from the restaurant all the time. The food and the service are great. The buffet is awesome too. Definitely try this place for Indian food. Attached are the pictures.
The food was good but the vada had to much oil but the curry and rice was amazing. It came with a bunch of sauces. The aloo tikki was spicy and so good. It gives a coupon if you are interested I’m not sure for how long though. But I will definitely be back to try the other dishes.
The food was good but the overall experience could be better. We found hair in our appetizers but that didn’t really bother us. The service is kinda slow or they just don’t know when to come to table to take our orders. The somas were still good! The butter chicken was good! Nann wasn’t bad. If you want to get your money worth go during buffet but I wouldn’t go during dinner just my opinion. Spent 95 dollars for 5 people which isn’t bad. The food use to be much better I believe but no idea if management change/chef.
I came here for buffet and it was pretty good but small selection. Buffet typically ends around 2:30-2:45pm and it’s $23 dollars per person. The service was awesome brought us fresh nann and desserts that was not part of the buffet. The goat is the best and I wish the butter chicken tasted better but overall it’s ok.

I went there recently after I was searching Indian restaurant where serves buffet near my town for a long time. Many of them don't have it anymore after Covid-19 situation. Lucky me, I found them, The buffet was very nice and enough choices to eat. The service and inside restaurant were good. I paid for buffet around $20 with tip per one person. One thing I may concern is the female restroom was not working very well. Anyway, I will go to try them again, of course.
My first time in Indian Restaurant and so, so delicious! A unique gastronomic experience, with very striking flavors and aromas, absolutely different from my Brazilian palate. Family atmosphere, fun Indian music and great service :)
OVERALL:
The aroma of the spices and the tandoori smokiness of the meat dishes were a beautiful compliment to their vegetarian meals.
MENU:
There is a wide variety for even the pickiest of eaters without losing the authentic taste of Southern Indian Cuisine.
NOTE:
The service is a bit introverted yet pleasant, have patience with them as they are quite gracious people.
Definitely a must visit when you are in the area!
The food was fantastic. The naan was exceptional; very light and fresh. Tandoori chicken was very flavorful. The food is a little spicy but really tasty.
Minerva has been in Gaithersburg a long time and all the locals will tell you it's the best place for Indian food. I've never had a bad dish and frequently bring friends here. The portions are always very good and they are excellent about spice levels. If you want it hot, they will make it very hot but are also capable of making great tasting mild dishes. Service is always nice for dine in but we have also gotten delivery and it's been very quick with everything packaged nicely. If you are looking for Indian in Gaithersburg this should be your first stop.
The only reason I’m giving it four stars is the spice level on the chicken biryani is a lot (even for me being South Asian) and takes away from the flavor of the dish. Would recommend getting mild or medium. Butter chicken is one of then best I’ve had compared to other restaurants in the area! Chicken 65 also had the perfect amount of heat
