The food is really good. We enjoyed a 3 course meal for the dinner for 4 people. It's a good place to find some traditional Uzbek style food like the Lagman soup.
The service can be better. The waitress who served us forgot to give us water. That's not a big mistake, but it can definitely be better.
Choyhona pyar hai! It is a lovely Uzbek place with good decor and great food. Had their dumplings and tea (and Khachapuri). The bread was good too. My colleagues had three other dishes and they liked those as well. They even had veggie kabobs. The service was slightly slow, but not too slow. More communicativeness could have been a bit useful. I had been meaning to have Khachapuri for some time, and I was not disappointed. The food was not expensive, and the portions were good. They had included tip in the bill when it was just four of us.
Absolutely a pleasant adventure! This was our first time trying Uzbek food and it’s was mind blowing. Everything was so flavorful with a prefect mix of sweet and savory. Pictures are plov, pan fried manti, and samsa. We also had lamb tenderloin skewer which was not on the picture but also very good. We will definitely go back and try more food.
Silk Road Choyhona was a fantastic experience!
The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. Served fresh and hot.
I highly recommend for either casual dining or a special meal.
I will be back again!
We love to try new foods and this venue did not disappoint. If you are the type of person that needs to see burgers and fries on your menu, go elsewhere. This is not for you. This is fine food cooked and presented with authenticity. We ordered the silk road salad, nejnost salad with a side of tandoori bread, samsa, tea and Turkish coffee. Just delicious. Staff are attentive but not fake like many happy clappy American restaurants. We travel a lot and like to experience new things. That is how I recommend this restaurant...new...authentic and not just a fast food hole in the wall. Enjoy!!
Wow the food was so good! Luckily there were five of us who were able to order a lot of different food and share! Very fresh and great portions!
Everything is so delicious and fresh here. The Trout is amazing and of course the Steak tenderloin. The potato and mushroom is perfect. I don’t know how they make it so tender and soft.
The environment and the wall design is also so touching. I love the lady on the camel painting.

My goodness!
This may be the best food in the whole DMV!
I found this restaurant after craving for some Eastern European food, never knew that Uzbeki dishes were so similar to Romanian food! Again, most of the dishes here are amazing! The staff is very friendly and great!
Take a look at some of the dishes I’ve had while here, mind you not all in one sitting. One soup and one entree will make you feel like you can’t walk and will make you say “starting on Monday I’m going to the gym”
Had Lamb chops, kebab platter, and samsa. Chops were delicious. Kebab platter was good, but I personally didn't like the lamb kebab. Nevertheless good food.
We love this place. I am in love with the ox tail dish. So much great flavor. My wife had the dumplings and thought they needed a gravy. The meal came with a salad. We both took food home. Prices were very affordable and portions were very generous. Server really knows the menu and the decor is very fancy. I think that you will love it.
