Loved happy hour. Even though their menu for food is small, it's fulfilling. And their peach pie was delicious!
I had the Thanksgiving buffet at the Washingtonian Marriott with some dear friends and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was excellent and plentiful and the restaurant team was very pleasant and accommodating. We left with a very positive feeling and look forward to coming back!
Did a quick room service order of the crab and corn chowder which was good. The flatbread and salads also sounded good, so if I'm back for a conference again, I know what I can try.

The quality of food has always been great and the servers continue to be very knowledgeable of the menu with a professional attitude.
It was delicious food but it was very slow even though this place is 1/3 full.
This was a quiet evening. Restaurant is in the Marriott and it shows. But the food was well prepared and the service was top notch.

I stay at this Marriott or the nearby Courtyard very regularly for work. I have eaten at almost every restaurant in the Rio Washingtonian area and this is my favorite, hands down. I never would have even thought of eating here until my coworkers told me it was good. Now, I regret all those trips to the mediocre chain restaurants in the area when I could have been eating here! The veggie burger is straight up delicious (get it on the brioche bun though), as is the quinoa superfood salad. The flatbreads are surprisingly good, too. My coworkers swear by the crab cake sandwich and it does look delicious. They have a good beer and wine selection too, especially for a small hotel bar. The only thing I've tried there that I would not necessarily recommend was the apple crumble/crisp dessert. I've found the service really great, especially if you sit right at the bar, although lately it's been great at the tables, too (historically it's been a little slower at the tables but still good). There's a bartender there who is just fantastic - she's just so nice and friendly and gives the best service. I feel like this place is a totally underrated option for the area! Try it!
This place is a favorite of mine. I think it has a better patio view of the Rio and their menu selection is well thought out. Also, their service has always been great. A shoutout to the awesome hostess I had Nov 15th who recommended butternut squash soup. She is a natural in hospitality. I haven't seen her level of hispitality since working at Disney.
