Colombian food that tastes just like it's made or cooked in Colombia! Their "Bandeja Paisa" (Country Platter) is Amazing! and so is their steak and grilled chicken! My Wife and I have been coming here for over to years because the staff and the Owner are as as friendly and courteous as ca be. We always come hungry and leave happy! Try this place out! You won't be disappointed!
The best Colombian restaurant in Gaithersburg!
We have been there more than 8 times and has always been an awesome experience. We have even brought family and friends they all loved it. I am Colombian and I can say that their food it is so good. Starting with their snacks (buñuelos, pan de queso, empanadas y arenas), their breakfast and dinner plates ( arepa con chorizo, huevo pericos, ajiacos, delicious cazuela de frijoles, tilapia) and finishing with their awesome and friendly staff!
Now I moved from MD but I will definitely go back! Small place but awesome!!! 👌🏽
Staff was SUPER nice. This is a small restaurant with plenty of street parking. I only bought some empanadas to go.
This is my first time having Colombian empanadas so I dont know what the comparison is to others but the beef and potatoes were flavorful in them. The crust is thicker than I like but I think they're meant to be that way. My only wish is that there was more beef.
We had an amazing meal at Colombian Breeze last Sunday. We had been there last about four years ago and it was good then...but it is really excellent now. Ownership has recently changed but within the same family. We are pulling for their success and hope to contribute to it by becoming regular customers.
Wow. The food was so delicious, and the fruit juice was the best I've had since I was in Colombia. The prices are great. Service was not fast, but it's because things are made to order, so we didn't mind at all.
Will start off with saying my wife and I both are Colombian. That said, this food is on point. Really good flavor and technique. Perfect crunchy empanadas, yummy warm and just right textured bunuelos. I had bandeja tipica, was flavorful and huge, easily can be shared by two. Wife had the Sunday Asiago special as did the kids ( one can easily be shared by two) and they were all happy. Friendly staff, friendly owner, Will come back again when in town.
The food has an authentic Colombian flavor. The service and ambiance are ok and it's a bit pricey but that flavor makes up for it. I love this place and we've eaten here many times.
Drove from Manassas Virginia to try this restaurant. It was worth the drive. The food taste like home. Empanadas were delicious as well as the bandeja Paisa. Ricardo the owner was very friendly and took the time to make us feel at home.
Colombian food at its best... had grown part of my life in Colombia I strongly recommend this place when craving some back-home-true Colombian cuisine; batidos de frutas (yummy) - small but cozy and their staff is very friendly. Also available a sweets stand for those who want to take something home. 5 stars (close on Mondays)
