This place is superb. It has a fusion of Chinese, Thai, and Japanese menus. The place is super cool and has a great ambiance. We ordered sushi, drunken noodles, and miso soup. All the food items and service were great. I definitely recommend this place as we go here often for dining.
This place had amazing food and wonderful service. Our server was kind, patient, and understanding. She was able to suggest vegetarian dishes that weren't on the menu and all the food was so tasty and different flavored! My sister ordered drunken noodles mild and they were amazing. The papaya salad was fresh and tangy, the orange tofu was perfect, and the green curry was really great.

I recently visited Asia Nine, a Thai restaurant located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The decoration of the restaurant was also fantastic, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Now let's talk about the food! It looked absolutely amazing and tasted even better. I tried the sushi sashimi combo and the volcano roll, and they were both outstanding! The sushi was fresh and tasted like it was made with care. The volcano roll was perfectly balanced with a combination of spicy and savory flavors that were an absolute treat for my taste buds.
The drinks were also a highlight of the evening. I tried their house-made lemonade and lychee coconut cooler and they were both refreshing and delicious. They perfectly complemented the flavors of the food. Straw were made out of paper! So they are definitely environmentally conscious
All in all, I would highly recommend Asia Nine to anyone looking for delicious Thai cuisine with a touch of creativity. The food, drinks, and service were all top-notch, making for an unforgettable dining experience. I cannot wait to return and try more of their offerings! A five-star rating is well deserved.
Also parking is connected to the same building where the restaurant is so you will not have to talk as much to visit !

This venue is overlooked and undervalued in the Downtown Crown neighborhood. It is rarely crowded, which makes it an ideal for restaurant-goers who prefer a less boisterous ambience with their meal.
I find the staff to always be polite and accommodating. The Colors are vibrant and have a great significance here. The purple and green walls are adorned with gold/ brass plates.
Sushi rolling table is positioned dead center of the venue, so you can observe the artistry of your sushi getting rolled right in front of you!
The bright white bar area shines like a halo, boasting an eye-catching array of unique cocktail options. The Pearl of Andaman is my favorite- I order it without the Chambord.
While some scoff at the diversity of the cuisines featured on the menu, I have yet to hear anyone say the meal did not supersede those prejudices. Go see for yourself next time you’re in the neighborhood!
Awesome restaurant, extremely underrated. I was very impressed with the selection of sushi and cocktails, all of which were very fairly priced for the high quality we received. They had a nice variety of cocktails and sake too. It is also the only sushi restaurant I've found in the area where I could order sea urchin, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was excellent as well, I regret not sitting up in the bar area because of how nice it looked. Would definitely recommend Asia Nine to anyone coming to downtown crown, I will for sure be coming back.

I also got cooked sushi combo , eight pieces were California roll, worth trying the other half eight if you are beginner at eating sushi.
And for the drink I had a sunset something I can’t really recall 😅
Wonderful and extremely underrated Restaurant!!! Food and drinks very tasty, and staff very friendly. Beautifully decorated restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere. Second kid review: I like Asian 9 because it was so fun! It was the best experience I've ever had especially for birthdays it was the 👍 and its was an amazing service. It's a perfect place for any event🤩.
We went there for a weekday lunch and I am glad we did. We ordered a mix of things.
Starting with a raw papaya salad and Thai steamed dumplings. Both were packed with authentic flavors. For the main course, we chose the crispy basil chicken which stood up to its name. The chicken was crispy and really flavourful. It was tossed in some crunchy vegetables and came with a portion of steamed white rice.
We also ordered Ke Mao(drunken noodles) with pork. The dish was decent and on the sweeter side.
For the vegetarians, we ordered the Green curry with tofu. This came with white rice and was full of flavor. Had a decent helping of vegetables and tofu.
Overall, would highly recommend this place as every dish has distinct yet authentic Thai flavors and great portions. This has been one of our favourite Thai meals in a really long time.
