Something for EVERYONE. As someone who LOVES Indian Food, and often finds it inconvenient to schedule social gatherings at Indian restaurants because of those who are not fond of Indian, I like that this is the ONLY Indian Restaurant I've ever known to serve distinctly NON-Indian dishes which appeal to such people.

How can anyone criticize a restaurant which serves excellent Indian foods, excellent Pizza, excellent Gyros and a mean Steak & Cheese sandwich on Naan bread?

Typically I only order one thing there, well two actually. I order the "G5 pizza" (white pizza with basil oil) with an order of Lamb Saag (tender cubed Lamb with a spinach curry sauce). I eat the two together such that I have lamb, spinach and cheese, a superb combination. Oh, and I always get a Mango Lassi.

It seems that most people who go there use this as a take-out restaurant. In all the years I've eaten there, I've NEVER gotten takeout. I always eat there, usually with a large group of my friends, but sometimes on a date.

One of the nicest things I can say about introducing anyone to this place is that, at least most of the time, they later tell me that they brought a friend, relative, or a bunch of co-workers and that they had a great time as well.

One of the quirkier aspects of this mom and pop Indian restaurant is that they've recently produced their own frozen food line which is currently sold out of freezer cases in the front. I've not inquired but I suspect the target market is those who buy fresh take-out there, but I could be wrong. I keep meaning to try it, but since I live so close I'm not particularly motivated to buy frozen Indian food. Now if they make frozen Gyros... or... prepackaged pizza with Lamb-Saag... Yum! Maybe I'll need to suggest that?

Sometimes it seems to me the flaw with review sites is that they attract negative people who want to criticize a place. As a result, they score most highly the restaurants which are the least quirky and often the least interesting. This restaurant is extremely quirky, but I like that about it. If you like good food and interesting quirky restaurants, you should go here!

Nice bar. I really liked the Blueberry cider they had. They really do have the best wings and pizza and Drederick! We had the quasi veggie pizza and the nashville hot wings and parmeasean garlic wings. The bar tender was very nice. We sat outside in the good weather.

The samosas are great two for a dollar cant beat that. But I would never eat there. Its got a bad ambiance and so sketchy to eat pizza at an Indian spot. But the samosas are always hot and fresh. Call ahead for your order. Great for pot luck!

This restaurant was a nice surprise on so many levels. First, it’s a combined pizza and Indian restaurant. So when the kids want pizza, but adults want Indian, yay! There’s something for everyone. Second, the pizza was decent. It had twice as much cheese as most pizzas, and we didn’t order extra cheese. The restaurant also had some really fun pizza toppings, like capers! Third, they took traditional Italian-American appetizers, like fried mushrooms, and improved them by cutting them so you could enjoy the mushroom more. Fourth, they have a nice take-away grocery of Indian desserts and breads. Yum! Finally, the couple who owns the restaurant is delightful. They have owned the restaurant for 30 years, and they are always smiling with kind eyes. There was a bit of stickiness on the placard of specials on the table and the ambiance was not spectacular, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

This is not a review for their pizza, but rather for their Indian cuisine that they serve under the name Metro Dhaba. I've seen this chain for years and never went inside because I wasn't a huge fan of that pizza chain. A friend of mine told me they had Indian food inside that location and that it was outstanding. I had no idea but they've been selling the best Indian food around for the last 30 years right under my nose. Their food is very inexpensive but absolutely the best chicken biryani, eggplant, samosas, onion kulcha I have ever had. You know food is good when you wake up the next morning and can't wait to eat more of it... Especially that biryani...Mmmmm!!! What a find!

Great Indian food and pizza. I usually do carry out but eating in is good too. This place is never busy and the owner is super nice. I especially like the samosas with tamarin sauce, baingan bharta (eggplant) and their garlic/sausage pizza.

Excellent Indian buffet lunch for the small price. Others at the table ordered pizza and sandwiches from the menu and commented on the generosity of portions and taste.

I love this place! They are so hospitable, kind and they make some really awesome paratha (my favorite). Try their samosas too! Never disappoints.

The Pizza at Il Forno's is the kind that lifts you up. This is my best attempt at accurately describing this pizza. The combination of Italian and Indian culinary arts and using a woodfire oven to bake it, is the reason for a pizza of this nature. Zio's Italian is no longer in business, Il Forno Oven Baked Pizza can claim to be the best in the area and I would agree agree. I have to say it, I have not tasted better Pizza since dinning at Pop's Pizza in Wheaton in the 1970s !

Great Indian food, family owned and operated, extremely reasonable prices. It's strictly takeout right now.
