This restaurant is a hidden gem in Kentlands. Ever since we first tried here, the food never let’s me done. It is not the fancy type of restaurant with mediocre food, the food here is simply what it should be: delicious and satisfying. Everything on the authentic menu is good. There are several dishes that you need to pre-order. Before there was dine-in, restaurant has weekend dim-sum like small dishes that are great for brunch. Hope this whole thing is over, and dine-in service will be back soon. Staff is super friendly.
Hidden gem with authentic Chinese food! Love the large plate chicken with home made wide noodle, lamb kabobs, and fish fillet! Very fresh and authentic.
I like the nanjing pidu noodle! Its too big!
The food was incredible! Great service, amazing quality and the noodles are the best. Other food are also very good. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Seriously underrated. 👍👍👍👍👍
Three of us went to this place last Saturday lunch the first time and liked this place. We ordered Pork Chop Peking style, Mongolian Beef, beef congee and 油條. All tasted very good. We didn't expect any service and set our expectation very low so no complaints . I will definitely go back to try out other Cantonese dishes. I heard they have good roast duck and roast pork.
Ordered delivery of Peking duck and congee w. pork & preserved egg. Peking duck is really delicious, though delivery took time so the duck skin is no longer crispy. What I love about the duck is the restaurant separated meat and skin from bones, provided steamed Chinese pancakes and traditional sides (cucumber and green onions), and gave us the bones to make duck bone soup ourselves. But the congee is terrible at its high price: no pork at all, just the preserved egg. I’m unhappy about this.
Amazing Chinese restaurant. They offer a lot of Cantonese cuisine but also have a large selection of Nanjing food on the menu. Nanjingers should definitely give this place a shot if you need a taste of home. 我特别喜欢它们的狮子头，真好吃啊！
Love the food here! The Beijing Roast Duck is a must try, we ordered twice and everything was amazing!
Super friendly owner and staff. Great food, excellent prices...their pick 3 for $21.95 feeds two. Really small place, not much seating.
Update: Their $21.95 isn't available at this time. We got the Peking Duck and it was a very generous serving for the money. Soup could have been hotter, but we enjoyed our lunch. Owner very friendly.
Edit: was delivered. Will write off as one time issue and re-rate because the food is good. No explanation given though and it took a little under 2.5 hours and some of it was pretty cold. I'll do pickup from now on. Still one of the better Chinese takeout places in the area.
Not sure what happened, but they never delivered my order and they will not answer the phone to confirm to the vendor (BeyondMenu) to refund my money. It has been 2 hours and now i am out 60 dollars. I have used this same service 5 or so times and never had an issue.
I want to give 1 star, but the food and service is always great and might be a one-time miscommunication. Not super happy either way though as i now need to go find dinner for my family and probably beg to get my refund.
If you are not open and/or not working with a certain vendor anymore, then it would be great to let your customers know.
