Definitely a great place to go to and I see why they’ve been around since 1976. After a visit to the aquarium, my family and I took my nephew here for lunch on his 3rd birthday. What can I say the kid loves seafood and the place did not let us down. The service was fantastic, the food was seasoned, establishment was clean, and everything was bundled properly. The batter used on the food was seasoned and the food was fresh. I will say the sweet tea is not sweet or maybe it was a mishap and they forgot to add in the sugar. The sweet potato fries could use a little kick to them. But they’re fish tacos, shrimp, and onion rings…wow! I took a thing of gumbo home and it was a still wonderful warmed up. The restaurant offers outside seating which we will have to utilize next time. This is a must visit spot!

We came on a not-too-busy Friday night. It took a while to order since some employees were towards the back chatting and on their phones. The fried catfish was good, but the fries and boudin balls were lacking (/mid). We read good reviews and were excited to try it out, but we were a little disappointed in the quality of service and the food itself. I don’t think we would come back to this location, but I would be curious to see if the other location is significantly different than this one.

Shrimp N Stuff should be on the MUST visit list for Galveston. We went twice on our weekend trip because it was so delicious. Add a cup of gumbo as an upcharge side to the shrimp po'boy!
