Great Vietnamese food! Restaurant was clean and well-decorated. Nicer than average dining decor. Food was well priced, around $11 a dish.

Visiting Galveston on a cold day and we were craving something warm. As a vegetarian, I needed to find something veg-friendly, I was pleased to see so many tofu dishes! I chose the Pho with Tofu and Mixed Vegs. This isn’t the “typical” pho, but it was AMAZING! I love veggies and there were plenty of them. I added the mushrooms for an additional cost (worth it!) and gave my son the broccoli to go with his fried rice. He rated the rice a 9, only because he has a favorite restaurant in Houston, so I’d say that’s a compliment! Highly recommend.

The beef noodle soup is incredible. So many flavors packed into one bowl! Portions are phenomsl and the prices are more than reasonable. Our waiter Alfredo was professional, personable, and basically knew exactly what we would enjoy. His siggestions were spot on and his attentiveness was very appreciated. Beautiful atmosphere and great background music. Super clean and just overall great!

They are on the higher end of Pho restaurants in Galveston. Btw there are only 3 Vietnamese restaurants on this island so if you want more options, drive for 49 mins to Houston Bellaire! For an island restaurant, this is the excellent place to eat Traditional Authentic Vietnamese Phở Just famous as our great original American Hamberger, Corn dog, and Hot Dog, Traditional Vietnamese Pho is considered ONE of the most famous soups to millions of people worldwide for all seasons! Yes! Indeed this is the ubiquitous Vietnamese soup that helps portrait the beauty of Vietnam country! In addition, Pho is one of my favorite childhood dishes growing up in Saigon city since 1963. Enjoy eating steaming and unique, tasty Pho brings back great memories of when I was back home. Let’s close your eyes, think about your favorite phở. You can smell the delightful and distinctive aromatic beef stock. It embraces fresh rice noodles, tender beef slides, meatballs, hoisin sauce, hot spicy Sriracha, topping and garnishing with green onion, cilantro, Thai basil, jalapeño, and don’t forget to squeeze some lime, altogether creating a most magical zesty flavor. It's for this reason that wherever I go, I often tried to find a “Pho” restaurant that knows well about this pure, authentic dish. My family and many other friends have chosen Pho Bac as ONE of the very few restaurants in Texas that can produce this authentic taste of pure pho that I have eaten my whole life. Two years ago, on his deathbed, my father asked for Phở to remember when he was born in North Vietnam and then immigrated to the South Sàion in 1954, leaving behind the best of his life. You know, my father craved Phở trying to stick with this unique dish all his life. In general, Phở has a special place in our Vietnamese culture, and it brings everyone together from around the world. Like fresh air to breathe, we should enjoy Pho to nourish our bodies and connect with millions of Phở’s Lover like me!
