TL:DR Great family owned Mexican restaurant with friendly and fast staff, lovely atmosphere, and absolutely amazing food.
This is an amazing local Mexican restaurant. It's tiny, but has a lovely atmosphere with some inside and outside seating. It is family owned and operated. The food is amazing! I can not stress enough how amazing it is.
I had the tacos with chicken and my girlfriend had the tacos with shrimp. We also had chips and the housemade salsa. The meat is grilled and seasoned amazingly well. Just a hint of flavorful char on the meat. Fresh produce and soft cheese crumbles to top them. The tortilla shell seem to be made in house and the flavor profile show the work put into them. Think street tacos but with fresh flavors.
The service is great. They staff attentive and friendly but they don't hover. The food is prepared quickly. I honestly think that from the time we set down to the time food was served was made 10 to 15 minutes tops.
I went there with a group of people and it was delicious. I had the tacos with chicken. Everything is hand made there and it's very very good and fresh. It isnt even that expensive either for what you get. 100% recommend trying it if you take a visit to georgetown.
My favorite Mexican place in Georgetown! Get one of the specials there. Always fresh, tasty food for an attractive price! Friendly staff in a cozy neighborhood setting. Highly recommended!!!
I ate a chicken taco and a steak taco here, both of which were refreshing in style and taste. Alfresco's feels much more authentic than other Mexican restaurants. The corn tortillas weren't rubbery, and the tacos were topped with a nice crumbly queso fresco. The ingredients put into the taco tasted fresh and each contributed their flavors without becoming indistinguishably muddled together like other Mexican restaurants I've been to.
Ok so I had 2 beers. Neither was cold but the second was better. We came in close to closing time so maybe they had restocked the cooler. The food was authentic. Not Mexican- American. I had the burrito especial and I enjoyed it. My wife had the alambre. It was good but the wraps/shells was lacking. The cantina is small. But the food is large. Looking forward to going back. Hopefully earlier in the evening.
Reasonably priced and food was so flavorful. Very polite service. Outside seating with the historic architecture in the foreground. We try and go at least once a week! Hank approved!!
Delicious mexican food served quickly at a good price. You can sit inside or outside and the family that owns it is very hospitable, wish we lived around here to become regulars!

Delicious Mexican food. More authentic than average Mexican restaurant. Small space, two tables and a bar that seats about 8 people.
Their chicken quesadillas are literally the best thing that have ever gone in my mouth and they're cheese dip I can't even describe how good it is I really recommend this place for a night out!!!🌮🌮🌮
