Best pizza in the area, in my opinion. Popeye and Olive Oil or Cowboy Extreme recommended.
This is my favorite pizza place in Georgetown. I have tried most of the specialty pizzas. That homemade dough is great. They are all delicious. Wings are pretty good too. Also specials during the week can't be beat.
A Mama's Corner Of The World

We venture off on a lot of road trips from our little corner of the world in Central Ohio. Sometimes, road trip dining has a way of presenting challenges for families. One of our girls is a little (okay...extremely) picky about food choices and we try to visit local restaurants rather than chains during our travels. On a recent trip to Lexington, Kentucky--by way of Louisville from Ohio--we opted to spend the night in Georgetown, Kentucky. I LOVE the historical homes of Georgetown--so this trip let us wander through the streets lined with old homes and visit an "extra" city en route to our destination. We arrived in Georgetown just in time for dinner--and the husband had scouted out a local pizza place and had even decided our meal before we arrived. What was our review of FatKats Pizzeria in Georgetown, Kentucky? The location of FatKats Pizzeria was convenient and offered easy access. FatKats Pizzeria was minutes from our Georgetown hotel--and, I will admit, I was amazed by the large parking area. Sometimes, smaller family-owned restaurants share busy strip mall parking or have on-the-street parking--so it was nice to find the restaurant easily and park with no trouble at all.
Took the chance on trying a new place when going up I-75, and couldn't have been happier! Fatkats has a great atmosphere, and our waiter was a very cool guy. I had the fresh Italian pizza because our waiter told us it was award winning, and he was right on the money! It was fantastic! My husband had one of the burgers, and he said it was much better than any burger you could get at a fast food joint! Definitely coming back whenever we're driving through again.
I don't understand the negative reviews. I let them scare me away from this place until today. I am SO glad I went! Some of the friendliest and fastest service EVER, and some of the best pizza I have ever had anywhere. It was so hot when it came out that I burned my tongue, and the fresh basil really enhanced my Fresh Italian. I will definitely be back. Those of you who think it's awful, please do the rest of us a favor and stay away--that way there'll be room for the all the rest of us! Yes, it is a little more expensive, but once you taste it you won't mind. I'm willing to pay a little more for good, local, fresh food. Please don't let the bad reviews keep you away. FatKat's is a gem.
Bud and Jennifer. My wife and I were looking for a place to turn around, and she saw this place and suggested we try it, so since she is the "boss" we did. She got the steak hoagee, I got the chefs salad. we were not dissapointed at all, and the server was a blast, we like her,so Fat Kats will go on our list of regular places.
Not bad.. The pizza was good, and it came out fairly quick. The staff was nice. The pepperoni rolls were delicious, but they were too few and too small a portion size, in my opinion. Bread sticks were also delicious, but they were small and the portion size, for what you paid, just didn't quite add up. However, I would recommend this place to others, just as a different pizza option, from the norm.
One of my favorites. This is by far my favorite pizza place. They always have new idea for toppings and their pizza rolls are just to die for!
Best pizza ever.and service was excellent
Zingy sauce. We went tonight and found a cozy booth. We got there about 6 and all of the sudden it was totally packed!! Loved the attentive waiter and was interested in this being our first visit. We generally like to go out for pizza at mellow mushroom or take out goodfellas but we wanted to try something new to end 2011. The appetizer was their poppers and you get 4 for $3.59. There wasn't any cheese in these and it was slices of jalepeno wrapped in pizza dough, skip these. The Gonzo pizza was really good, the sauce was tangy and toppings are edge to edge. I thought it was over board on the banana peppers. Our bill was $31.00 before tip. We could of had steak dinner for that price. This is a fun place to take the family but as far as the two of us we are glad we tried it but not something I would crave enough to go back.
