The food was amazing... it was really neat to see another Luchia Cantina 1000 milea away from home. We live near Rockford IL where there is also one. But we asked and it's part of the same family.

A must visit in Georgetown for good food. I haven't had such type of Chile releno in a while! This was very well made (I typically see them dripping with oil, which wasn't the case here)! They also have a variety of salsas! Excellent service too!

The only reason this place gets four stars and not three is the food. But, I get ahead of myself ... I stepped into Lucha Cantina because I was hungry and Mexican food sounded wonderful. In fact, the Mexican BBQ hybrid (or are we calling it a fusion now) sounded interesting. Too bad my food wasn't a Mexican-BBQ hybrid. You step into Lucha Cantina and you step back in time to the 19th century. Take out the modern acrutements and you find yourself in an old saloon where miners and explorers have been gathering for a hundred years. The hostess seemed annoyed I was there and when she discovered I was alone she suggested the bar. Which was fine with me although I'd toyed with sitting on the second level overlooking the bar area. Believing such a seat would make my food come slower I decided to mosey on over to the bar. When the bartender found out I wasn't interested in day drinking her attitude switched from welcoming to professional. She suggested a meal based on what I was hungry for and I ordered it in a chimichanga format. As well as a side of fries. I was hungry for those deep fried potato sticks. A few moments later she brought me a bowl of green chili and chips. I informed her that looked nothing like my order and she quickly delivered it to the right patron whom, by the nature of the conversation, was either a local, a regular or an employee there. She then admitted to doing this all the time, even at home with her kids. Uh, okay ... The guy brought out my chimichanga and it was delightfully huge. I won't be coy: it put Chipotle to shame. The fries were run-of-the-mill, but the house Ranch sauce the waiter brought me was amazing. The BBQ sauce he brought for dipping was vinegar based and while not bad, not really my thing. All-in-all it wasn't a bad experience, just not a great one. But, that's due to the staff I interacted with the most (hostess and bartender).

This little town is a gem. Cute restaurant w a typical cantina look. The food was great. According to my friend who lives here in Colorado, best Mexican food he had so far. I agree. Recommend: The Bull Margarita and the Colorful Colorado Enchiladas Plenty of small shops and cafes.

Very much a small town cantina. Almost felt like we were walking into a saloon. Constantly lines forming at the door. The staff was friendly but not the fastest/most organized. It didn't bother us but if I had to find opportunities for this place it would be speed/accuracy of service. The food is amazing no matter what you get! We got the salsa sampler appetizer and they're all tasty! The other two in my party got the colorful Colorado enchiladas and loved them. I got the Fajita Burrito as a Burrito Bowl, fantastic! We all three had different margaritas and loved them. Highly recommended must try experience if visiting Georgetown!

Very good, but not a typical Tex Mex. Food is zesty, interesting, light, not greasy. Interior is casual booth bar style. Family.

Super cool building. Portions were huge! I loved the salsa sections as well. Our group had a couple of issues with incorrect orders, and drinks not getting filled, although they worked hard to make it right. Overall we enjoyed it very much.
