Went to get a salad. It was delicious. The man at the counter noticed I was new to the county and asked me about my new job. THEN, they gave me free granola since I was new! This place is absolutely adorable.
OMG!! The smells when you walk in the door will keep you coming back. Homemade pretzels, donuts, breads. Yummo!! The pies are to die for!!
I was amazed at the quality of their home baked breads, cakes and pies, but especially the meats. I had a brisket sandwich and it was the very best I have ever tasted, even better than my own!!. I just moved here for a few months but I will be doing my shopping there for sure. Their crafts are very strong and Very well made. I'm VERY Impressed with what they have and at fair prices. I travel all over this Country, Canada, and Mexico and I have never been this impressed with all their home made products.
Wonderful place, very friendly staff, lots of goodies to choose from, great selection, and reasonably priced. From homemade breads and pies to deli and sandwiches, this place has a little something for everyone. We found it quite by accident and were very pleasantly surprised once we stepped inside. We expected a restaurant and instead found a veritable cornucopia of taste treats. Candies, chips, dips, breads, pies, cookies, grain, granolas, and much, much more. Good selection of deli items as well as on site made deli sandwiches (including fried bologna it you want it🙂). You can stick up a bit and not break your pocketbook it budget. If you're traveling, it is definitely worth a stop.
The Home Place is amazing. Talk about a snackers Paradise. They also have a large selection of premium cold cuts, and fabulous baked goods. All kinds of pickled goodies and baking products. Really has to be experienced. Did I mention they sell furniture also? Must not forget the terrific collection of wind chimes
This place has decorations, produce, candy, furniture, dry goods, cleaning supplies, outdoor stuff, meat and baked goods. Everything looks and tastes amazing.
Really enjoy walking in the home place you just you feel right away the hospitality that a home grocery store should have the food is excellent we really enjoy their donuts that are made they're not like any other donut place they're using real good ingredients to fry a man to make them lot of different varieties there breads are homemade they have local honey they have a deli they have a hot side where you can buy hot lunches ribs excellent place to go anytime of the year thanks again home place we love it
I absolutely love this place! All the furniture and crafts are well made and all the edibles are delicious. Best donuts and cinnamon rolls around!
I'm incredibly sad I was introduced to this gem just before I move away! The sandwich was FANTASTIC! I wanted to spend so much more time there, and can't wait to go back when I get back in the area sometime!
Best deli sandwiches in Georgetown! Get the punch card, because you'll be back again and again. Also lots of other delicious dips and foods.
