We discovered Dee's One Smart Cookie almost 7 years ago and fell in love. Fast forward 7 years and they made our wedding cake! They were so kind, patient and responsive during our wedding planning and postponement (due to COVID). Our cake was absolutely perfect and delicious, we can't wait to order our next treat from Dee's!
I was looking for a organic/vegan friendly bakery and Dee’s popped up in Glastonbury. They offer tons of breads and baked goods that all looked great. I ended getting the morning glory bar, a few cupcakes and some blonde brownies. Everything was terrific, nothing was too sweet and I didn’t feel heavy eating the items afterwards. The Blonde Brownies are fantastic. Popped in my air fryer and topped them with ice cream….. HEAVEN!! If you’re in the area, pop in and check them out. You will not be disappointed.
What a wonderful GF bakery! I decided to stop by on a trip through CT after seeing so many positive reviews online and it was as wonderful as promised. The staff was so friendly and cared about the food sensitivities of their customers (I have celiac). They had a great selection too! My favorites were the cinnamon roll (large, classic taste & texture, and so rare as a GF option), the brownie (more moist than most gf brownies and the chocolate wasn’t overpowering), and the chipwich (enormous, didn’t crumble everywhere, and the *chunks* of chocolate were so good!). I would definitely recommend it and stop here again when I’m in the area.
I rarely leave reviews, but I love Dee's bakery so much that I just have to! Every treat they have to offer is absolutely delicious, and it means a lot that it's allergen free because I can no longer have gluten or dairy. All in all, Dee's bakery has brought my family and I so much joy, and I always look forward to ordering speciality items for the holidays.

As someone who has a gluten and dairy intolerance it is amazing to have this bakery as an option... but honestly my husband who can eat whatever he likes without feeling like a dumpster fire is equally obsessed with Dee's! They did our wedding cake a few years ago and everyone asked where we got it, no one knew it was allergy free.

Truly the best gluten free cakes, cookies, and other treats that my wife and I have found. They are also very accommodating with special orders. I highly recommend Dee's!
I needed to send something special to my sister in MA for her 75th birthday. She has celiac disease so I wanted to find a trusted baker. Dee’s One Smart Cookie came to the rescue. She received 4 cupcakes, a dozen cookies, a blondie and a brownie. They also included a beautiful card. She received the gift the next day. Boy was she surprised! Thanks, Dee, for making her day special!
