We came in to Two Sisters in bit of a rush and didn't indicate this to our wonderful waitress. Nonetheless she picked up on it and had our breakfast out in a matter of minutes, even though the place was fairly busy. We had a wonderfully done omelette with fresh veggies and a breakfast sandwich simply done but with attention to detail. Incredibly friendly staff (that Gloucester charm!) and very nice, neighborhoody ambiance. Great little hidden gem. I wish I woke up with Two Sisters every morning!

Love this casual down to earth breakfast stop. It's a true Gloucester townie place, nothing fancy, but simply the best breakfast in town. Best homemade Hash ever!

Why are you not already eating there! The apple Pie pancakes were the best thing EVER! The green giant omelet was amazing with completely fresh ingredients! We are visitors from the south, and were impressed they put biscuits and gravy on the menu. It did not disappoint! These ladies need to make this a chain and head down to Memphis! RUN to get this breakfast!

VERY welcoming (staff & patrons)….maybe my lucky day; but, I strolled in for my 1st local breakfast and got MUCH more than a great rib-stickin’ meal…REAL people

Cozy cafe with a home town feel. The service was friendly and helpful. The dining area and the bathroom seemed clean and well taken care of. They were gracious enough to put together a fruit bowl for me with fresh apples and orange slices, in addition to a lovely bowl of yogurt with granola, fresh blueberries and bananas. It was perfect and exactly what I was hoping for. Even though I seldom enjoy diner coffee, the coffee was actually good and served in an appropriate, hefty diner mug. There was a friendly crowd of locals there, and we all know locals don't frequent a place unless the food is good and reasonably priced, and the service friendly. Altogether a very nice experience for breakfast before my whale watching tour.

This great little restaurant is so much more than a coffee shop! Super friendly staff with excellent food. Hubs had scrambled eggs, SPAM and cinnamon toast. I had eggs, Portuguese sausage and Anadama bread. All were delicious. All their breads are homemade in the kitchen. When the server (one of the sisters?) saw that my toast was slightly burnt, she brought me a bwhole new order without me having to ask. I saw some berry French toast at another table that looked really good.

The green giant omelette was impressive -- delicious and super healthy. Likewise, the homemade hash and homefries exceeded our expectations.

Ten minutes after leaving this place, I was still talking about how good the food was. Their bread was incredible. If bread is stand out enough to write about, imagine what the omelette is like. I had the Gloucester omelette it was 💯

The friendly staff was so welcoming and helpful with our questions about Gloucester. Our breakfast was wonderful, the best home fries I have ever had! I highly recommend this small but delightful shop.

When I went to school at Auburn, Alabama, thirty-two years ago I was introduced to a breakfast dish that would become my favorite: biscuits and gravy. Since then, if I'm ever in a restaurant that makes it I have to try it. There are an almost limitless number of variations on the biscuits, the gravy, and the sausage in or out of the gravy. This morning I stumbled across Two Sisters in Gloucester, a spot loaded with locals, and found biscuits and gravy on the menu. Their biscuits and gravy was among the best I've ever had, from the Deep South to the Maine seacoast. The biscuits were thick and fresh, a perfect balance of moist and dry. Gravy was made with linguica, a Portuguese sausage that's spicy but not overpowering. Portion size was perfect and $7.25 price was very inexpensive. I also had two eggs and hash browns with peppers and onions for an extra four dollars. Coffee was very good. It appeared that one sister was the cook and the other was the server. Service was excellent. I look forward to returning and trying the fishcakes.

A small but very busy place, we we're lucky enough to get a table while we were visiting Gloucester and in my opinion this was the best breakfast we had whilst in town.
