Just had the Clemole Con Rabanos...I can't even begin to tell u how phenomenal it was... omg I wanted something light and it was to die for...I highly recommend it ... I'm a regular here and this is new and the balls!!!
By far the best on the seacoast! I haven't been here in years and the food is as good as I remember. Well over an hour to get here, and well worth it!
Grabbed dinner after an afternoon at the beach. We grabbed 3 entrees and soft drinks. Service was friendly and quick. Chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful. The main meals were all served hot. Each was delicious in its own way. I don’t think that you can go wrong with anything on the menu.
I haven't been here in awhile, but the food is still excellent, and the margarita was phenomenal! I had the mole chicken which was a generous portion, tender and with plenty of mole sauce! The chips are fresh salsa with cilantro are such a nice kick off to anyone's dinner. Relaxed atmosphere so you can completely enjoy everything!
We went in on a weeknight with no reservations for a group of 7 and they were very accommodating, waited only ~5 min. Servers were very nice, my husband is celiac and they were knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination. The menu has great variety and the servers helped us narrow down our choices. They also had colouring available for my 4 year old. But the time we left the restaurant part was dying down and the bar section was getting more popular so we had the area to ourselves for a bit. I had great enchiladas for the first time in years.
Good Mexican joint. Service was strange: new waitress who was actually very good just lacking confidence. Food was good and good portion. The drinks (margaritas) were very strong! Beware!
I give it a 4* for a good meal and nice evening overall. It just didn't blow our minds overall.
Lisa and Ellen were nice bartenders but could use a bar back! We ordered the famous "Gary's Dip" which was phenomenal and a couple of frozen margaritas which could have used a shot of tequila! ;) The walls lacked decor and the light fixtures above the bar are in major need of cleaning.-very dusty-ours actually had a spider's web. The atmosphere is very dated and there wasn't any music playing in the background. Get Spotify! Get with the times!
Had our monthly "Cousin Get-together" here last week and it was tremendous!
We ordered takeout. We ordered the chicken enchiladas with habanero sauce. I will say they warned us of the spicy level it had. My son and I tried it anyways. I will say that they were amazing. The spice was definitely as hot as we were warned it was. My thanks to the staff for this order. It truly was great!
I got a chance to see the restaurant when I picked up our order and it looked really authentic.
Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you for an amazingly spicy dinner... it lived up to it's billing. I will definitely be looking this restaurant up again when I come back to the Gloucester area.
a nice mexican restaurant. in the heart of gloucester, very good menu, the margaritas are very good. The only thing they do not have are tacos of birria.
Great restaurant. I eat here often with friends and family, bartenders and servers are friendly. Kai was a great server this past week.
Best Mexican food around... It is my third time here and I keep coming back for more .. if you love spicy food, don't forget to ask for some Habanero sauce... It will make you sweat so good!
