Great service. We loved the laid back down to earth spot and the awesome real staff. Thank you for taking care of us!
As luck would have it the only place I could find a room for the night while passing through was around the corner. The owner suggested Sailor Stans baked beans and something for breakfast, they didn't have that so I went with the hash-
I'm from Arkansas and we don't get that stuff down here--- Phenomenal!!!!
Nice venue to see quite a few new works by local artists. Artwork is always interesting; The building is a very attractive way to display them.
Note they request a voluntary $5 donation, but on the plus side there are restrooms.
The Rocky Neck Art Colony touts itself as the "Oldest Art Colony in the US." Although there's a lot of evidence to support this, it's an arguable point. What's NOT arguable is the fact that it's one of the most beautiful places that any art could ever be showcased. It's located in Gloucester MA on the "Neck". The art colony has galleries that art literally right on the water. In season you can take the Water Taxi from several points on the Island to get there. Displayed of course, are works from some of the most talented artists in the Country.
Very nice artwork was displayed with the artists in attendance. Enjoyable beverages and bites to eat.
Authentic, charming and wonderful galleries as well as local eateries!!
open on Memorial Day from 12 to 5 pm!
Wonderful exhibits in a delightfully converted church.
A hidden gem on Rocky Neck.
Nice place in a nice day.
