Arrived at around 8, went for Bagel sandwiches. I was expecting a horror show based on past reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast and efficient, the server was pleasant. The place was clean. I didn’t notice anything scummy or dirty, about the counters, where they were preparing food or the cases where the baked goods are.
My bagel sandwich was delicious and we bought a1/2 dozen to go! We also came back with a lobster tail ( only other place I’ve had one is at Carlo’s bakery in Hoboken NJ), a huge cinnamon bun, and some croissants! I’d come back again!
Lox bagel tasted like deed.
run over coyote meat that was freeze dried and micro waved!!! server asked for 100% tip when I didn't give that tip she cussed me out!!!!!!!! 5 stars
Jim’s has the best donuts in all of Cape Ann. Whenever I’m in the area I always grab one for breakfast. I would recommend to anyone looking for a donut or bagel in the area. Small business and family owned too! Have to support the local guys.
Donuts are great!! Much better than Dunkin. Staff are relatively kind and since it’s so busy people are taking orders two, maybe three at a time. You can just walk in, you barely have to wait in line, and the food is cheap! Great job, Jim’s!
Used to live a few blocks away. By far the best bagels on the northshore. I have been home in Lynn for almost two years now and I still cant find a local bagel place that holds a candle to Jims.! My kids like the donuts too. Its a little expensive but worth paying extra. Some employees could be more friendly. Some are rude and miserable. Early in the morning everyone is great
I'm a big fan of Jim's Bagels. (and bake shop) Patty and I like to stop by , every time we're in town. We've even made the 1 hour drive, just to grab a bagel! My personal choice is the spinach bagel with bacon chive shmear. They remind me of my New York roots! :)
Cozy cafe with a drive thru and good breakfast at a reasonable price

Great classic coffee and donuts. Lots of flavored iced coffee options! The butternut and coconut and chocolate glazed donuts are some of my favorites. They also make cakes -- and the STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE is incredible -- so fresh and not too sweet. Highly recommend it.
Jim's is part of my morning routine. Being across the street from the Gloucester commuter rail make the location perfect. Coffee is good and the muffins, cinnamon sticks, and coffee cake are all great. And I am usually greeted with a smile 😃 !!!
