Today was the 3rd time in as many weeks that we have had a meal with the Rodolosi family at 525! Each visit has been better than the last. Today was outstanding! From apps (best zucchini stix ever), to brunch, to the Thai curry Tofu dish...everything was delish! Clean plate club for all (5) of us! Combined with such a cool and casual vibe....this might be our new fave!
An overall awesome place! Clean and cozy atmosphere with delicious food! We visited from out of town and sadly we made this our last stop prior to going home. Big mistake! As it ended up being our favorite meal of our trip. My boyfriend and I shared the watermelon feta salad and clam chowder for starters. The salad was out of this world! Great flavor combination--balance of sweet, tangy and fresh! The chowder was creamy and decadent. For dinner my boyfriend enjoyed the root beer steak tips and I enjoyed the meatloaf. My boyfriend couldn't stop raving about the steak and I felt the same with my entree. Was an awesome experience and our server Aja was on point and very friendly. We cannot wait to go back soon! Highly recommend!
The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was really good. I especially liked the loaded nachos. And for drinks I tried the pumpkin martini and the brownie batter martini and they were yummy. The atmosphere was very relaxed. They even have throw pillows in the booths. Very comfy. I would definitely eat here again if I ever found myself in the area.
We got married in Gloucester and chose to go to Magnolia 525 for a big combined family dinner a few days before our wedding. When I called, I was put in touch with who I later found out to be the owner. She was simply amazing to work with to set up this big (20 ish people) dinner. They set us up on the patio outside and we had a great dinner. The service was excellent, and the food was great. We had the best time there and can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.

Loved the French onion soup which is new on the menu. Portion size is perfect for the price.
We had a post wedding party at 525 (the day after) as a last good bye to family and friends and it could not have been nicer! The staff was wonderful and the food was fabulous! The scallops wrapped in bacon were the best I've ever had! Perfect friendly atmosphere! I would highly recommend them!
It was my first time here. I'm a musician and came to hear a friend's jazz trio and was very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the Magnolia 525 Tavern was.
Perfect service, able to continue the conversation and order food without staff lingering or interfering.
At the same time gave good advice on food choices with delicious descriptions at our request.
The atmosphere is high-end including the lighting and decor. They offer some high-top tables and booths with pillows!
It also includes a bar 🍸.
You can dress up and enjoy a glass of wine waiting for apps and casual dress is acceptable too. A must-see place to add to your list.
