Friendly staff and spectacular food.
Their burritos are huge! Way more flavor than anything else around. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out!
This restaurant is absolutely incredible! The quality of the food is amazing, the portion sizes are plentiful and the price is more than reasonable! We hands down recommend the barria tacos, you'll thank me later!
food was tasty, but the vegetarian burrito was missing beans.... not worth the price for just rice and lettuce. no cheese on the california, burrito, that was missing, too.
Great, authentic Mexican food. We don't have an abundance of that in Charleston, but we certainly do have a handful of places to get it. I don't think I'd rank this one of the best, though.
Don't get me wrong. Like I said, the food is just as good as any of the others. I feel like this place is a bit more expensive than most of the others I've tried, though. I also feel like the wait was a bit long, and there is very limited seating, both indoor and outdoor.
I did truly love their habanero salsa, and thought it was nice that they carry a nice assortment of Mexican beverages and packaged snack foods for purchase as well.
This is the most delicious and only Mexican food restaurant that we will eat in the low country. Originally from CA and TX and this place is worth the drive. Highly recommend the salsa, tacos, and burritos. I don't have pics because none of the food stays on the plate for long enough around my family. Also, don't get the salsa if you can't handle heat.
This place is conveniently located right next to my house and has really good food at really great prices. They give you good portion sizes, too. I hardly ever have to wait, and the workers are always so sweet. I've never had a bad experience. Fast, friendly, tasty.
Beans beans, the magical fruit, the more you eat the more you toot. The more you toot, the better you feel, so eat beans at every meal. Haha!
This food is absolutely amazing! Very delicious! The interior the building is clean and well kept. Nothing inside sticks out as extraordinary but they're definitely aren't any negatives. While the food is amazing, the pricing is a little high. However, it still worth it.
Lucy was grandma cooking authentic - we ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious and freshly made to order.
This is my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant in the Charleston area. There are a few others that are close, but Lucy's is the best. Try a carnitas Burrito with a pork tamal and grapefruit Jarritos.
What could be better than authentic Mexican at a reasonable price? In an area saturated with run of the mill Mexican restaurants Lucy's rises above the crowd. Their little seating area makes you feel like you are ordering right off the streets. The taste of the food makes you feel like you could be in Mexico. It is definitely a local favorite of those that work on Joint Base Charleston. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that their burritos are bigger than your head!! From the street taco's to the mofongo(my personal favorite), Lucy's will not disappoint!
