My server Kevin was EXCELLENT! He provided my family with a great experience. He was so helpful with my mother to make suggestions, I was thankful. The food is exceptional. My Western omelet was tasty and the hasbrowns are to die for. The pancakes are fluffy and filling. My husband had the Ruben and he was very happy. Golden Basket is a great place for good comfort food.
After several visits to this establishment I can honestly say the service is consistently good as is the food. Prices are very reasonable. You get your money's worth! The owner and staff are very friendly and will do what it takes to make sure customers leave happy. Free parking around the building. Easy access in and out. A great old style Family Restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus along with desserts available.
We come here when we are in town for the people as much as the great food. We are truck drivers and only get back to Green Bay every 3-4 months. The last time we were at the Golden Basket was in February.
We came in this morning and Suella came right to the table with coffee and made sure she had the French Vanilla creamer my husband always used. It is just so amazing to go to a restaurant that makes you feel like you are “going home”. The entire staff here is exactly like that. The waitress always chat and catch us up on what is going on in the area. We feel comfortable and relaxed here.
The Golden Basket is so far above many restaurants because they have both Amazing Food and Staff that knows how to have that 5 minute relationship with customers that ensures you want to come back again.
Awesome soup, had big bowl of chicken booyah it was delicious. Was almost too big a bowl but I finished it. Wife had a chicken nugget wrap. Fantastic flavor. Can't wait to go back. Service was also great. Very attentive.

Me and my wife were looking for a place to visit on Sundays for breakfast and I gotta say we have found it! My wife had got the classic breakfast with eggs, ham toast and a side order of biscuits and gravy. I got the biscuits and gravy ( which seems like that is the specialty for breakfast here) since seriously EVERYONE around us also got the biscuits and gravy and I can see why because they are delicious! The biscuits were fluffy and flavorful the gravy was nice and think mixed with plenty of sausage and perfectly seasoned. We can't wait to go back this Sunday my wife is just dying to try their huge selection of waffles.
I also don't know of the older lady and the front desk man own the place but of they do that is so nice to see them working along side everyone else if it wasn't the owner then huge respect for the both of them because they sure seemed to care deeply about how everyone's visit was and made it a point that are experience was they best we could have.

The best corned beef and cabbage dinner I've ever had was there tonight. If you're looking for a St Patrick's Day meal you won't be disappointed.
