This was my first time there. To put it simply... Some of the best Old Fashioneds around. Great soup and salad bar. Great steak cooked correctly. Nice views facing the Fox River. Great staff at bar and table who made us feel like we have been there many times before. To top it off the owner and chef Andy came over to the table and thanked us for coming in and asked how our meal was. He did this with every other table as well. If you like a good old fashioned Wisconsin Supper Club this is the place for you. In fact, it is better. I never write reviews but felt the need to for Galley 57 because it was such a treat. Thanks Chef Andy
The not only was the food excellent but the service was stellar as well. Chef Andy came out to speak with us for a few minutes and that added a nice personal touch. I had the signature steak and it was so tender I could cut it with my fork!. I would recommend this restaurant to any and everyone I know that is looking for a nice place to have a great meal!
Great food here. My filet mignon was excellent, great flavor and cooked perfect. The green beans also great garlic flavor and cooked perfectly. Will definitely dine here again. Oh, and the Old Fashions are awesome as well.
The service is great and our food was very tasty. A little bit dark on the inside for my taste, but overall the vibe was very peaceful and nice for a little date night.
The food was delicious! The staff was very courteous and on point with drinks and cleanliness of the table. Really enjoyed it. The chef/owner goes around greats the tables too. Just an all around great experience for our first time and will not be our last!
Staff is great and steaks were done perfectly. And of course dessert was delicious! 🙂
Thanks Tyler! 😉
We had reservation s for 4p( recommend).I took my daughter out for her Birthday. Great customer service .Our server was very patient and always had a smile when she came to our table . We had a wonderful yummy time.We had tai chilli shrimp and a escargot for appetizers .salad bar.and prime rib for dinner.
Our large group of 16 was able to make a reservation for a Friday night gathering here at Galley 57. We started out in the bar and were promptly seated at our 7:15 PM reservation time.
Our server did a great job with our drink and dinner orders at the table. They do no have the salad and soup bar back. The salad bar included hot bacon dressing for a spinach salad and some New England clam chowder as the soup of the day. Salad bar had a nice selection of topping. The dressing is prepacked in small solo serving cups with lids. Not sure why but it works just fine.
Our group had a variety of different items, including steaks, perch, pan-fried walleye and an excellent item called Wicked Shrimp. That was delicious.
There was some inconsistencies in the beer price charged between the bar and the dinner table. Not sure what that was all about, so watch out for that.
Overall we had a great meal there.
Garlic green beans were to die for, liked them better than the balsamic broccoli. Filet was tasty. Carrot cake is huge!! Needed more attentive staff but everyone was friendly!
My first time here but other people in our group have had several visits. Food was very good. Traditional WI supper club with a nice bar area, good old fashioned, and a nice variety of dishes. It was Saturday so I had the prime rib special. Others had the filet mignon, and shrimp cocktail. Steaks were very good, the red potatoes were great, and everyone left happy and full.
