Hadn't been there in a few years, but this is one of those places that (thankfully) doesn't change! Food is still excellent and maybe even faster than I remember. I ordered the perch plate and it was great! And I asked for fries extra crispy and they actually came that way🤩
All that said, the best part was the staff! In these days when everyone's seems stressed, they seem to have fun and be friendly and welcoming❤
AMAZING burger. Only downside is there's no recliner for me to pass out in after downing this absolute BEAST! Definitely will be making a return trip to try the rest of the menu.
The owners of this establishment are after my heart. A few of my favorite beers can be found behind the bar and I am very excited to explore the rest of their menu. Everything on it sounds delicious.
Really a pretty good fish fry. The perch is a little pricey, but the quantities are generous.
Good late evening Saturday night dinner, and very accommodating to our last minute order.
Food was good, the service was delightfully pleasant, especially at the end of a long day.
Drinks were fully poured and everything was fresh and delicious.
Visit tonight was also good. Caribbean Gumbo was excellent, just the right amount of heat.
WARNING: It's not really a younger child (toddlers and below) restaurant, which is pretty normal for a bar and grill but I definitely took mine and paid. But that isn't why they got 4/5 stars.
First: Manhattan Clam Chowder, I had never had it before and have wanted to try it for YEARS. It was FANTASTIC. It was definitely a different flavor profile than I expected to eat and I was pleasantly surprised.
My wife got the regular New England Clam Chowder and though the flavor was muddled because it still had an overly flour taste still from the rue. No worries added some extra salt and pepper and perfectly tasty! This was the hit for 4/5 stars.
Appetizer was HUGE, mozzarella sticks, southwestern bites (which were amazing on their own), French fries, cheddar bites, and onion rings all seasoned and battered perfectly.
All in all, it was a great experience from someone out of state and looking for good times with professional and attentive staff, and great great food!
