We had a very tasty lunch at Gathering Place Cafe today. The cafe has a nice selection of salads, soups, sandwiches and meat with sides. Prices are very reasonable and servings generous. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We will be back when we are in the area.

First time eating here. I was very impressed! Food was very good. My server, Scooter, made my first visit great! She was very courteous, helpful, and took great care of me. My food was awesome and hot! I will be back! This establishment only takes cash as payment, so you have to come prepared for that, but its worth it.
We went for a family dinner. Everything was so good. Atmosphere is family friendly the staff is excellent. You should not leave hungry....if you do that would be your fault! I had the fried chicken it was crispy, hot and the sides are a pleasant little something that will make you lick your lips. VERY reasonably priced.

Absolutely the BEST onion rings I've ever had. Limited menu though, but great daily specials, desserts. Everything we've had there has been great... and the quintessential southern family restaurant atmosphere. We go at least every 2 weeks but want to go more often. Only open Thursday, Friday, Saturday.... 11 to 7. GO... NOW
This is not our first time. It is a great to dine here. The Vegetable casserole, pea salad , cornbread salad, fried potatoes and onions and meats are mouth watering. It's beautiful inside and the porch is neat also. The customer service is great also. Scooter was our waitress. She has the gift. Keep up the good work. Thank you !
Not sure what bad things can be said about the Gathering place ! Food is on point, service is impeccable !!! Staff makes you feel like family! Don’t pass this gem by
