A little Chinese restaurant serves home style dishes. Dishes are generally authentic Chinese. Nothing fancy, but tastes good and no doubt Chinese. Pretty large selection and good mix of dishes. They also serve a few traditional favorites like dumplings, mini steamed bao, Chinese sesame bread etc. Dish price is in mid and low teens, pretty reasonable.
Ate with family 2 or 3 times, and the dishes we ordered were wonton soup (customized as salt free) for my baby, kungpao chicken, eggplant stew with beef, and port short rib. We enjoyed the food - tasty and yet not salty at all. I don't feel thirsty after meal. The food is as cozy and pleasant as the settings.
The female owner is slow witted as far as the art of speech is concerned, considering that we spoke the same language - Chinese, but we didn't mind it. We're there to eat, not to get pampered like at the Bloomingdale's or Saks Fifth Ave.
Business seemed to be good, always packed. I saw diners from various ethnic backgrounds. The cook did a good job preparing meals for customers with different needs and preferences. We live in West Covina and will certainly visit again when passing that area.
I love the food. Wonton soup is my favorite
Small dishes but buy 4 dishes get 1 free or buy 8 dishes get 2 dishes free. All at reasonable price. Great for family style sharing to sample multiple dishes in smaller portions. Great for days when you don’t feel like cooking.
Enjoyed the food here today. Authentic. We ordered the Beef with Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein. They were all very delicious. We will definitely go back.
Has lunch special, prices are reasonable. Has a lot of choices, & the food taste well. I like their sesame pancake, craspy and yummy 😋😋
