I went to see Aortic Valve perform during Third in the Burg - amazing visual effects on large tv screens choreographed to trancy dance music. In my opinion, one if the best dance shows in Harrisburg. I've been to HMAC a lot over the past few years, whether going for karaoke or game night at Stage on Herr, meeting friends for dinner or brunch at the Kitchen, or seeing a band or concert upstairs. The place draws an ecclectic mix of artsy, creative types that remind me of the crowds you find in the East Village. The Kitchen only opened a few years ago, but serves some of the best food in Harrisburg. Casual, cafeteria-style dining with home-style favorites prepared with local ingredients. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu - my favorite is the brisket and brioche sandwich, but try the bacon wrapped meatloaf, salmon BLT, fish and chips, or prairie burger. Add a local craft beer or specialty cocktail, and you have the perfect venue for dinner and a show. If you've never been, I highly recommend checking it out.

Went to the Taste of Culture to remember MLK on the 50th anniversary of his assassination. Beautiful place and the food from many different vendors around Harrisburg was fantastic.

This a very interesting place. It is beyond description but that is a great thing. It reminds me of a few old places I visited across the south to include New Orleans, La. The bar was well stocked & not expensive. The staff was extremely friendly and fast. The music room here is a bit small & the acoustics aren't great. The crowd was one of the best I've seen in years. They were lively & very spirited. BEWARE there are some of the fiercest women in the Mosh Pit I have ever had the pleasure to bear witness to. Remember, you have been warned.

Pleasantly surprised that this kind of venue now exists in Harrisburg. Great setup. Lots of room and the food smelled awesome (didn't eat tho). The only negative is the bar costs for certain items. $3 Miller Lite 16oz cans is a deal but $8 for a plastic cup of Guinness isn't. Similarly, $8 for a large can of seltzer is quite high. Although, the White Claw is cheaper at the bar by the lower stage which we'll have to remember for the future.

We have been to this venue twice so far. Easy to find and we never had an issue parking. They have a bar on the first floor so you can pre-game for a reasonable price before the doors open for the venue upstairs. Even then drink prices are reasonable. Good sound and, friendly staff make this place a fun place for a concert. My only complaint is that there are no restrooms on the second floor. You must head downstairs to use the ones on the first floor.

Super fun intimate little concert venue that holds a little over a thousand happy concert goers. Catching a rising star or an oldie but goodie in such a small space...Priceless! HMAC is one of those spots that someday you will be telling stories about seeing that band in a bar before (during or after) they were famous! Ticket prices are very reasonable for a fun night out or just to expand you musical vocabulary! Harrisburg..you have a jewel in Midtown! 🌌🌟💕💜💕🌟🌌

This is a nice little place. Parking wasn't terrible at a meter a block away. Prices for tickets were great. Not a bad spot in here to stand and watch a show! The 2 downsides to this place, 1st there are no bathrooms upstairs where the bands play. Go downstairs via the steps or elevator. This sucks when 🍸. 2nd is the mixed drinks were more like fruit juices. Stick with the beer here. I'll be going back for sure.

Husband and I had a great time here last week. Event staff , bartenders, cooks all friendly and nice. This is a 2- story floor venue. On the first floor is the bar and restaurant, very spacious with tables and chairs where you can lounge. Upstairs is where you see the bands play, they have a bar booth up there too. They don't have their own parking lot, but we found paid street parking. Bathroom was clean and spacious, wasn't dirty. Sound stage could be better. Couldn't hear vocals and sound was drowning out singers on the opening bands. Only subtract a star because they did not do a security check on people before going in.
