This place here have amazing delicious food. The owner is down the earth and make you feel good and full. The Olympic Bar on Derry St. Go check it out.
I can't believe that this was the old Olympic lol! There has been a total transformation. Great food, Great Customer Service, Great Prices and of course the "Go be Great" image of Joe Stretch hanging on the wall. This is definitely a place to check out �
Joe Mama's catered my wedding two weeks ago, and it was such an amazing and positive experience. Jennifer worked hard with me to find creative ways to meet my food budget - we decided on small plate appetizers. I was a rare bride that got to eat at the wedding and I'm so happy I went with Joe Mama's! Everything was so delicious. I love how she designed everything and made it so beautiful. My favorite was the pretzel bar!
Joe Mama’s Kitchen is a very home feeling restaurant. I had the fish and Shrimp grit bowl. I can honestly say it was the Best! 🤩🤩🤩🤩I wish I can have this back home.
I haven't eaten everything on their menu, but I'd bet $ that everything is fantastic. I love breakfast to go there. $10 & change gets you 2 eggs over easy, bacon, meatloaf, homemade home fries and toast. Yes I said meatloaf. 2 thick pieces that they fry up. So so good! The home fries are homemade and awesome. One of my favorite breakfast spots anywhere.
Wow! What an amazing place. We are visiting from Bethlehem and found this place on recommended breakfasts in Harrisburg. We can’t agree and recommend it enough!!
My husband and I had completely different things for breakfast and both were incredible. We were sad this couldn’t be a local place for us. We would be regulars. Staff was so kind too!

Went for breakfast around 10:30 am. Staff (only two) were very friendly. Ordered chicken & waffles, 3 eggs over easy with home fries. Delicious! Fresh and hot, and came out pretty fast too. Chicken had very good flavor and was piping hot (fresh out the fryer) crispy and juicy. Waffles 🧇 were on point. And I believe they made a sweat heat type syrup for the chicken n waffles. Home fries were very yummy. They have a pretty decent menu too! A lot of options. I’ll be back for the salmon cheesesteak 🤤 I was so hungry and food looked so good that I forgot to take a pic!
My brother recently passed away and the owner of Joe Mama's was a friend of his. My brother had no funeral money set aside so money was super tight. The owner of the business reached out to me and offered to help out the family by giving us a very reasonable catering rate for the after funeral memorial. Best of all, she handled most of the arrangements with little input from me so I could focus on other important matters.
The food and the service was outstanding. Everything looked professional and she even packaged up the leftovers for the family. If you are someone who prefers to spend your money helping small business owners who care about the community, I strongly recommend that you choose Joe Mama's Kitchen.
P.S. My brother used to rave about her soups and the Italian Wedding Soup she gave us was on point. The next time I am in the area I want to try a few other soups.
Not your conventional diner, but more delicious than any of the other diners I've tried in the area. Went here for breakfast with my fiance. We were greeted by a nice lady who could tell it was our first time. She helped us through the process. All of the food was delicious. Best breakfast I've had of all the diners I've tried on the west or east shore. Eggs were cooked perfectly, home fries were delicious, bacon nice and crispy. Everyone was friendly. Definitely a hole in the wall that's worth trying!
